Aden-een, the Shell Fireworks Parade 2018 Countdown to the fantastic Aden-een event has begun. Join us for a celebration of culture and community in the beautiful surrounds of Aden Country Park as young people bursting with energy and enthusiasm create an extravaganza of delight. Public invited to help with an archaeological dig at Aden Country Park Following the successful Aberdeenshire Council, Aden Restoration & Redevelopment Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Parks for People, and the Historic Environment Scotland (HES) Archaeology Grant applications, an exciting new project will allow anyone to get involved in the archaeology and heritage of Aberdeenshire. The first archaeological dig will be taking place between Monday 5th and Thursday 15th November 2018 in Aden Country Park, Mintlaw. 🌳🌳🌳Lots of happy tree climbers at Aden today and delighted to hear that tomorrows event is also fully booked. Participants taking part in tomorrows event should make their way to the big house/mansion house where Tim and his team of instructors will be located. Have fun. 🌳🌳🌳

We love a family day out where they can run play have a nice walk always say to friends and loved ones this is a place where your kids can play and have a really fun day ��

We had the most delicious lunch yesterday. Everything was so fresh and full of flavour. I was even impressed that my toddlers grapes in her lunch box came already chopped up!! Will be back very soon

Spent a lovely day at Aden Park today. Always enjoyed our visits there years ago, but great to see how things have developed. New planting, great museum, excellent food and friendly enthusiastic staff, thank you!

Lovely park and the dog agility area is great for my German Shepherd to burn some energy

Love walking in the park ,i'ts beautiful, then cup of tea and a " fine piece " in the cafe.

Love going to Aden park with the grandchildren lots to do ideal place for picnics and BBQs kids love to wondering and playing in the woods it's a must place to go in all weathers

Aden park is a park with something for everyone. Lovely walks , gardens, play area for the children, cafe, museum & plenty space for BBQ & running around. Well worth a visit

Aden Park is the most amazing and beautiful park around. I have grown up with it on my doorstep and realise how lucky we are to have this gem in Mintlaw

Absolutely perfect place for bbq and loads open space for kids. First time I have been since I was a wee kid and still has the amazing feeling of relaxation!

always love aden park , only thing i dislike is that the cafe doesn't accept card not everybody has money on them.

Took my toddler. We camped overnight which meant we could explore the park into the evening. Really liked that the farming museum had a play area for young children with a farming theme -was difficult to get him away from it.

Aden Country Park is an amazing place to take children. it is a fun day out and kids have a lot to do from playing at a park or even having a look round the museum and a lot more!

Lovely park but their Easter event was a complete let down :(
