Thank you to everyone who has come in the last few days to The Lodge. We had a little technical issue in the kitchen and therefore the team rallied and our Head Chef Fraser and his team used our fabulous wood-fired oven and BBQ to keep things going. We hope you enjoyed it and we're delighted to say that things are back to normal now....

This year we decided to do things a bit differently at The Lodge. Our Head Chef Fraser wanted as much fresh produce as possible for his delicious creations on our menus. So, we grew our own in our greenhouse at the back of the hotel. Here is a selection of our chocolate mint, spearmint, yellow courgettes, neturium and borage flowers, basil, coriander, onion flowers and cucumbers. Our tomatoes and chillis are also nearly ready. We're going to be creating a kitchen garden at the hotel very soon - so the produce will just keep coming...

Cocktails, cocktails, cocktails, that's what we like to do and we're dab hands at it. Our signature cocktail is our delicious Bloody Banchory with our top secret recipe. PLUS we're lining up a brand new cocktail list where we'll be slugging in gins, vodkas and rums to make the perfect drinks to knock back in this gorgeous sunshine we are having. We got married at Banchory Lodge last week (18 November 17) . The venue and staff were absolutely magnificent. The coordinator debbie leading up to the wedding was great. Everything on the day went to plan and the staff were amazing from start to finish on the day. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough, the location and surroundings were amazing, food fantastic and the guest rooms all have been refurbished and everyone who stayed couldn’t talk highly enough about the venue. We can’t wait to go back

Usually stop off for coffee after sunday drives but had a meal last night . Forgotten just how good food can be and how other eateries in the region , with the exception of one or two , can't be bothered . Food and service was exceptional and out of this world !! Was still undecided about venue for lunch for the first official East Coast 500 guzzler fizz rally but last night made it an easy choice ! See you on 29th june with the teams ! �

This is our second visit to Banchory Lodge Hotel and we're having the best time. Our room (10) is gorgeous, staff are friendly, food is delicious and our puppy is receiving lots of love. We had wine, tapas and flat breads last night on the terrace, the staff made sure we were cosy with lots of blankets and pillows and moved the outdoor heater right next to us. Staying again tonight and will definitely be back for a third stay. Thank you to all the staff at Banchory �

Stayed there 1 night great night and meal breakfast was really good the staff will do anything to accommodate you if you need anything I have booked again for the end of March when the weather might be a bit better and not so cold we were in room 10 nice spacious could not fault it can't wait to go back

Recently used the facilities for a business venue where we enjoyed an excellent service with exceptional dining experience & stayed in the beautiful accomodation available in the picturesque setting by the river Dee. Following this decided to take my wife for lunch where we sat out in the decking tabled area on a stunning day and really enjoyed a very good lunch......highly recommend and I know we will be back time & time again!

Lovely setting, lovely food and very warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff very helpful and friendly. Spent two nights here and wish we had booked more. Will definitely come back!

Lovely place to stay !! Nice staff great food and a comfy bed , a great view of river Dee from dining room what more could you ask for !! Highly recommended

Just be aware of the way vouchers work, they are moneyary value , if you have a £75 voucher and visit for lunch with a £30 value you will lose the £45 on redemtion of the voucher , dont be caught out

I was here for dinner on Sunday had a fantastic meal . Will definitely be back . Our waitress was very informed about the menu & wine list . Enjoyed the fact we weren’t rushed to eat our meal & encouraged to relax . 👍👍

Had such a fantastic meal at Banchory Lodge tonight. The food was excellent and the steaks were outstanding and cooked perfectly. The hotel was very busy but we had great service and a very friendly and helpful waiter. Really just a lovely evening in a beautiful setting.

First visit back to Banchory Lodge since the refurbishment has been complete, and what a transformation. Its lovely. Stayed at Banchory Lodge a few times now and its just the perfect place to unwind. As usual the staff were friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Cant wait until my next stay.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal at the lodge on Saturday night. Visited with my husband and 2 young boys ages 4 and 6. Food was great, atmosphere great and Lilly who was serving us was fantastic! Very attentive and soooo great with the kids. Really makes a difference when dining out with young children. We really appreciated it. Thank you xx

Attended my niece Amanda’s wedding to Keil Hopwood in Aberdeen in August 2017 and the reception was in Banchory Lodge where we also stayed. We loved the hotel and the staff were amazing, the grounds and area around the hotel was beautiful, would love to go back again.

An outstanding hotel. I got married here and absolutely loved the place. Staff are outstanding and so helpful, food is just delicious and off course the venue is simply beautiful. We booked out the full lodge for two nights. It was the perfect location for family and friends to relax in. Highly recommend this place. �

10 of us were @ Banchory Lodge for afternoon tea. The service was great and food was fab we had made requests and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend �

Had afternoon tea yesterday and really enjoyed the cakes and bakes. I have paid more for afternoon tea but they not as good as the one I had at Banchory Lodge.
