About Banchory Pipeband
We are a friendly community pipe band associated with the Royal British Legion.
Banchory Pipeband Description
The pipeband was set up to offer the chance for anyone and everyone to come along and have a go at piping and drumming. We have grown to some 30 + members of all abilities and we take part in various events from local school open days right the way through to the Braemar Games, and everything in-between.

Website Update
We are currently working on redesigning our website adding new features. We would very much appreciate it if you would take a couple minutes to answer a short survey.
Thank you very much for your time.
NOTICE OF EGM
All members, former members, pipers & drummers who would like to join the band are welcome to attend the EGM at Ravenswood Club on Wednesday the 15th February from 7pm to 8pm. The main business will be to discuss the restructuring of the band and seek new leadership for piping and drumming. Afterwards we will have a practice as usual where anybody who is interested can join in.
Band Vacancies
Due to retirements within the band, we are looking for applicants for the following posts:
Pipe Major - to lead and shape the band in the coming seasons musically... Drum Major - to help organise and bring on the drummers as well as deal with any parades etc.
The band has a busy schedule through the summer with the highlights being The Banchory Show, Aboyne Games, Braemar Gathering, as well as smaller events in and around the Banchory area.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to join an established band and to help continue the good work and following that the band has.
In addition, we are also looking for new players, especially Pipers, who are currently and already playing the pipes.
