We were met at the disabled entrance by the back door although we were early we were let in. They quickly sorted out our seats. Introduced to an usher Andrew who made sure we were ok. Bought some drinks from the bat, before the huge queue. Thoroughly enjoyed the concert (The Shires) at the end we were met by Andrew again who made sure we got out safely and back to our car. Top marks for service and safety.

Was at the Kevin Bloody Wilson show on 30/3/2017. It was great from start to finish. The only problem I found due to back pain, was going up and down the stairs. The staff couldn't of been more helpful at the end, when we stood to get our photo taken with Jenny Tailia.

User

Thank you to all involved with last night's Christmas Party. My friends and I had a fabulous time, the room looked stunning, the buffet was yummy, the staff were all friendly and smily (all night!) and the DJ was a laugh. Great job thank you

User

It was absolutely fabulous, John and Derek were very attentive with the copious amounts of top up to our champagne and the sandwiches and cakes were just delightful - the setting is wonderful and makes the whole thing feel very decadent x - loved it and will be back x

User

I had my 30th birthday here in the Star Ballroom and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The staff were amazing, the place is beautiful, the DJ accommodated all my requests (however bizarre they were) and my friends are still talking about how tasty the food was. Completely faultless, would recommend to anyone looking for a venue for an event, etc.

I had an amazing evening on Saturday at the Fastlove George Michael Tribute Show!

I saw this Artist last year when he did a similar show and the setup was different to this Performance and although the seating layout allowed the dancefloor free for people to dance in the centre last year, Saturday’s Performance was much more polished, professional and fun with slick dancers onstage and a greater repertoire of the George Michael songs!

Atmosphere was great and everyone looked liked they were having a fantastic time with dancing in the aisles and at the back of the auditorium and I was surprised to see how many people knew all the words to most of the songs and were singing along to them!

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the bar staff who had their hands full with so many people attending the show and wanting frequent drinks!!

The only annoying thing for me was when the queue for the bar downstairs suddenly grew so long that it extended across the floor of the auditorium with people blocking the view of the Stage for us seated folk, but even that issue was soon resolved by a member of the Beach Ballroom Team.

Just as I was starting to get a little peeved as the show had just started and I could hear the singing but not see anything happening on the stage because of the people queuing from the bar to across the aisle in front of me, a very smart man in a black suit appeared and spoke to every person in the extended queue and asked them to just move across to the wall and queue there and the problem was instantly resolved !

I later learned he was one of the Door staff called Robbie I believe and I would like to compliment the B.B. on having a capable person like him on hand to deal with tricky situations like that as a lot of people behind me were getting agitated at not being able to see what was happening on stage and were starting to get vocal about it so Robbie dealt with that issue very swiftly indeed!

Top marks for a fantastic evening and wonderful staff at the Beach Ballroom and I will definitely be back for further shows in the future!

I attended Sing Sing Sing on Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The Beach as it has always been known to those of my era , is looking fabulous. The ballroom got very tired some years back and I know it has been a total labour of love by their management and staff to bring it back to its former glory and beyond. Such a pleasure to see it look so fabulous and the one thing that was always to the fore was their staff who were more like a family and who always went that extra mile to make your event, concert etc a wonderful experience to organise or attend. Well done to the present management for looking after this local treasure and keeping it foremost in our minds and making it a rose in our Councils somewhat thorny crown of recent times. I look forward to coming back at any opportunity but definitely to Sing Sing Sing next year as this was a most enjoyable , emotional and well organised event. Congratulations to VSA , Fiona Kennedy, Laura Pike and all the choirs who gave us a night to remember.

Had an amazing night for a 50th Birthday bash, the staff were first class and could not do an enough to ensure everything went to plan, Paul dealt with the booking and the whole process was as smooth as you like from getting in early to add some ballons etc, Fiona on the bar went out of her way to ensure everything was tip top and the tables and glasses cleared away, everything was first class in a great venue and excellent value. Outstanding service all with a smile 😄

Another great event at the beach ballroom for our annual sparkles ball for the people we support. The venue is really stunning and a huge difference with the facelift in toilets etc . Good food as usual and the staff have it down to a t with service and food prep

User

Amazing venue! We held our wedding there and both us and our guests were blown away with the beauty and history of the place. It truly is very unique. The staff and management are super attentive and will go that extra mile to deliver. The food was delicious and the portions were so generous. It truly was a special day for us which was made all the more special by holding it at the Beach Ballroom.

User

A simply stunning venue! We had our wedding here last weekend and we loved every minute! The staff were so lovely and attentive and could not have been more helpful. The food was incredible and our guests were still talking about it the following day. Many friends of ours had never been to Aberdeen and had not heard of the Beach Ballroom and were blown away by how beautiful it is and how much space there is inside. A really first class venue and made our day extra special.

User

Myself and my daughter had an amazing time at the wedding show, felt though the catwalk should have maybe showed more dresses felt it was a bit all about the meals on the outfits for mother of the bride were not what we expected was all to dark colour, felt it was all crammed in in the hall, but over all a hoid experience x

User

very nice but seats are terrible. So hard my legs were numb and far to close together. I was at kevin bloody wilson on thursday night and seats spoiled it for me.

User

Was at Kevin Bloody Wilson , and the show was great , but the seats were murder , my butt was numb for most show. The seats were narrow and uncomfortable,, , but this has great potential to be a first class venue !!

User

Went to see Kevin bloody Wilson last night . He was great but the sound quality was very distorted and it was really , really difficult to hear the songs due to echoes & delay through the sound system . It got a bit better as show went on but has put us right off paying to see shows here .

User

Went to the Fastlove tribute and I was so disappointed in this venue! Spent half the concert in queues for the bar and kept leaving the queue to go back to concert as I was missing at least 3 songs every time I was in the queue ... finally at 10.15 I saw there was little queue only to be told the bar was closing!!!!! Absolute shambles and definitely would not go back there for any concert.

And where do you go to find a concert ALL seated!! Even the artist had to ask if we were allowed to dance???? Was this in China??? Move on with the times and let a concert be a concert and not a musical!!

User

Most staff where very friendly. Although got charged the same price for the same drink on 4x occasions, however when one of the bar staff served me he clearly overcharged me I asked why and he got very defensive and rude and asked me if I wanted my change or my drink to which I obviously replied both. Absolutely shocking. Was affronted how rude he was! Even his bar staff tried to show him.he was charging the wrong price.
