Briggshillock Balwens started in 2013 as a way of keeping the grass down. Back in the early days we had four ewes with one who had a lamb at foot. Since then we have purchased another three ewes in 2014 along with our first tup (Alfie). The first set of lambs were born in 2015 (all boys) who have all gone on to live life as lawnmowers. In 2016 we successfully lambed four ewes and three rams (one of which we kept - now named Alfie). Our most recent additions were four ewes and a ram from the rare breed sale at Thainstone in September 2016.
