Wonderful place. Peaceful, where you can read the Times, have a coffee and a cake. The menu is somewhat different, which makes it even more appealing. The food is so fresh and well prepared. Then there are the people, so friendly and knowledgeable, and always ready to help. We visit frequently and just love it.

This is my favourite place to eat in Aberdeenshire. We have never had a bad experience here - all of the food is delicious, their coffee is great and their staff are lovely. I cannot recommend them (or their cheese muffins!) enough.

Thanks for lunch today..lovely soup for me, organic chicken for Eoghain, children's platter for Seileach. Always awesome people, music and fantastic Calum + Val with their smile on.

Our first visit yesterday. Definitely won't be our last. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Interesting and well-thought-out menu. Delicious food.

My favourite place to eat in Aberdeen/shire. Top notch food, using top notch local-as-possible-and-mostly-organic ingredients, with a wonderful friendly atmosphere, and sweeping views across the countryside. Great music on Sunday lunchtimes too. A lovely place to cycle to, or go for a walk around Crathes castle grounds before/after your meal :)

Hoped in on our way home best food for a long time.

Great quality and an interesting menu, a proper cheese board with good port and friendly, knowledgable staff. Definitely worth taking time to enjoy.

Fabulous and very friendly place to hang out and one of the few places in all of Aberdeenshire where one can sit and read The Guardian - available to customers. Excellent strong coffee and very innovative food all locally sourced. A must to visit if in the area!
