Existing guttering was storm damaged and frankly inadequate.......not anymore.

Customer had issues with water coming through stone work at rear of house. On investigating it was clear that it was literally a top to bottom job. Ivy, tree stump and roots had grown into wall and needed removing. All guttering was defective so was rerouted and replaced for new. Existing pointing on affected wall was damaged due to ivy growth and so entire wall was picked and repointed. Old water storage tank was causing damp in wall and so was totally demolished and stonework behind was cleaned up and pointed. Ground level outside was found to be higher than that of the kitchen floor inside, and so a new land drain and soakaway was excavated to direct water away from the house. Oh....and a wee patio to finish it all off. pheeeeewwww

Another job from last year. Algae removed from wall and damaged blockwork repaired and filled, before applying scratch coats and finally finished with Skye Marble top coat.

Haven't been updating my facebook page for a while so here's a wee extension completed last year. All ground works, drainage, exterior walling and harroling completed by Buildscape. Roofing, kit, windows and internal work completed by Northern joinery Ltd. And last but not least Slate paving by Scotty Cowe.

Client requested existing timber fence be taken down from other area in garden, and timber reused to construct gated fence at side of house. Boards had been aged for two years on existing fence.
