Triumph Cub all done ...know everything there is to know about Renolds chains and cranked links ...every day is a school day ..... xj900 bobber stripped ready for in frame sandblasting before further strip and into black flake copper powder coat on wheels and paint ...before that obviously the grinder is coming oot..... lots of bike parts in the oven , BMW,GUZZI AND ZZR ...and a weather vane ...dont ask ........

So seen the first gritter ...bike season over apart from the hardcore ...respect.. lots of powder ...same old same old ..but shop full of projects now ... had a bus moment you wait for one and 2 come at once ..both red but harleys one for some TLC one for full project rebuild ...tidy wee trumpet in for some TLC , 955 in for resurrection as been sitting for 14 years , Gold wing in for mechanical s and zx12r , waiting for a small boy with tiny hands to change the spark plugs ...great design ....not ..... and another xj900 divi ...not one of mine and not getting PURGED ... Customers getting hard core cafe racer / bobber .. busy but still oven on couple days a week for parts and wheels .......get stripping folks ...

some things I found ......

So been away its bike season so been busy quick update , car wheels etc etc , Purge 02 got some Black Widow pipes and links ...sounds great purge 01 on ramp nearly there , Purge 03 doner looking sad due to poor delivery of parts as we are in Aberdeenshire which seemingly is at the end of the world (rant) , 883 harley in for a big ass battery and some gremlins , Fat Bob just done the primary casing in harley crackle powder and a service , fork legs and airbrush touch up to do... GSX-SRAD had complete engine change and a remodel , and another set of wheels for Kenny,s VW air-ride van in Mirror gloss black , and also a set of new fender,s powdered in the same , they wont get the Harley rot for years ..lots of other boring stuff but hey ho.......

Took my bike to initially get the rims powder coated and a leak fixed....it ended up being a major project. Loadsa stuff that were original parts, were basically done. So Adam was great and where 2nd hand parts would do we got them , buying new when we had no choice. He explained everything he had to do and why and spend hours working on it....skinned knuckles and all.

The best bit is I feel the bike is properly road worthy and safe and I trust Adam . Everyone I spoke to and mentioned that my bike was with him for repair had a brilliant word to say about him, especially that he was honest and would not rip me off. Everyone was right he`s a genuine, decent guy that take pride in his work. My bike is like a new bike, what a difference.

I have no hesitation to recommend Adam & his business Caledonian Customs and will be using him from now on.

To all BMW GS owners i would like to recomend Adams shop Caledonian Customs. Turned up today with damaged bevel drive and replacement bearings and Adam was very keen to replace them. Having never done this job before with abit of trial and error we managed to do the job with little or no bother. So before you pay a very high and over priced charge for 2nd hand or reconditiond price give Caledonian Customs a call.

This custom shop took my old tired drifter and made it look like new so if you cannot Afford a new bike perhaps a facelift like mine has had would be a great idea

Thanks Adam. Took the Sporty in (again) for a tidy up. Powder coated wheels and refurbed the fenders amongst other things. Top class job at a good price. All it needs now is a clean before the next round of TLC. Also fettled the brakes for it's MOT so well chuffed. Highly recommended for any work and good Craic.

So over the weekend I collected my bike from Adam and the team, was a rainy foggy horrible day but this didn't dampen my joy at what they have done. The work, attention to detail and overall care taken over what was a sizable task is brilliant. Bye to all the shiny chrome replaced with a lovely range of blacks.

Very professional service, went above and beyond with a small issue and was fixed with no hassle. A truly unique service for the north east.

Saviours, front tyre had burst, got a lift to the shop, Adam got his trusted trailer and Panda combo, picked up the bike, sourced a correct sized tyre and fitted it there and then. All the while offering cups of tea and coffee. True professionals who love what they do.

Just thought i would drop you a line to say thanks for all your help and patience. Got my Ducati back on the road after a year sitting in the Garage. A couple of times i thought that i was about to give up but the team got me a result that i was looking for. Trying to get the bike insured and taxed before the good weather goes again and when i do I will be up to see you all.

Had my tt wheels refurbished with these guys my alloys were in a terrible mess with kerbing , went for powder coated high gloss black ,not only do my wheels look fantastic but my car looks brand new ,absolutely recommend Adam and his team ,Adams customer service is top notch too ,thank you Adam one really pleased lady x

Got my winter wheels repaired and recoated. Made a fantastic job of the repairs and recoating. Would recommend every time.

Excellent service. Couldn't have been any quicker. 4 alloys repaired and powder coated in 24 hours. Well worth the money paid. Will Definitely use again. cheers

Excellent finish on my engine cases the wrinkle black matches the engine beautifully. Once ftted I shall send a pic in. Thanks again for the great service Adam well I pressed X

Dropped my shiny chrome spoked wheels off to Adam. He showed me all the different colours I could have and which ones looked great and which didn't. I opted for the ultra glossy black wheels and what a difference they make. They look fantastic. He also did the air filter cover in the same colour too. What a transformation to the bike.

Great service and great quality work. Will definitely go back to get more work done again.

Dropped a 15 yr old xjr fraime for powder coating, received what looked like a brand new xjr fraime. Excellent job done by a great guy. All round pleasure doing business with Caladonian Customs. Will defo be back.

Adam sourced, supplied and prepped my Suzuki Bandit, looked good in the photos, looked even better in real life. Looks fantastic, runs perfect, Adam won't let anything go out of his workshop he is not proud of. One very happy customer.

Adam gets the job done welded, strengthened & repainted my Yamaha XV1600 rear fender also sand blasted the rear subframe and powder coated it then re-sprayed it to the original maroon and burnet gold with 2 pin stripes awesome job.



On my 1983 Z1000R ELR which I have had since new after an off 5 years ago he repaired and sealed the tank, plastic welded and reformed mounting holes in the nose faring, tail cowl, side panels then repaired front steel mudguard and powder coated the under bracket then re-sprayed the original Red White and Blue with its gold pinstripes.
