~we enjoyed a spectacular sunny day strolling through castle and gardens, lunch and shops~

User

Wow, Castle Fraser is soooo beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. You could actually spend a few days there......

User

Well done to all the staff today! Well organised egg hunt. Kids loved it will definitely be back again, thank you

User

We were visiting today and my wee girl fell over. She split her lip badly and Doline came up from the office to help. She was very pleasant and calming and even gave my wee girl (and her friend) a wand to try and get her to calm down. Thank you very much for your help Doline xx

User

This is definitely a place to see. Absolutely beautiful. We have been going to the events for kids to get our daughter use to it, she is disabled but not comfortable around big crowds, loud noises and new places. ( stairs and closed in or small places upset her).So we signed up for the national trust pass and went inside the castle.

First off the woman at the desk was very helpful after we explained our situation and radioed the guides to make them aware. All of them were very helpful and willing to let us go at an easy pace. They are very engaging with us and our son as well. Wonderful family experience.

Thank you all

Such an amazing and beautiful Castle and gardens.

My sister and I had an amazing visit to Castle Fraser yesterday. We had a highly informational discussion with guide Bryce Reid. By far, he has been the best guide that we've encountered at all the castles and historic sites that we have visited over the years. We've been to approximately 30 sites so that says a lot. Maybe we'll stop by for another visit the next time that we are over from Canada. Thanks again for the wonderful visit and thanks again Bryce. Cheers!

User

My kids & I attended the wizard school this morning & it was great! The three workshops were really good & we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Well done castle fraser

User

Lovely castle and the staff are wonderful. Tea shop was very nice too. I will definitely return my 2 year old loved it

User

I'm very lucky living only 2 miles away. This gives me the opportunity to visit as often as I like and enjoy all the fantastic events that are put on throughout the year.

User

I am a Fraser of Lovat

User

Had a fantastic guide James Forsyth who gave us alot of information regarding the castle's history and the families who lived there-he was very passionate about his job

The lady in the gift shop and the girls in the coffee shop were all very warm and friendly too

User

Fabulous morning at Wizard School. We all loved it. What a great idea and so well organised. Well done Castle Fraser. Roll on more events!

User

Castle was closed on New Years day but enjoyed the gardens with my cavalier spaniels

User

Beautiful place with super friendly staff. Guides were informative about the castle history. The walk around the grounds and down to the pond was amazing, even spotted a dragonfly. My young son was kept amused during the walk counting the handmade dragonflies hanging from tree and bushes

User

Beautiful Castle in a beautiful setting, very interesting history and the staff are very engaging, taking time to tell relevant stories and very good with children, grounds and walks are beautiful, the pond is worth walking to in the summer to see dragonflies and damselflies and other wildlife, we have been many times and no doubt will visit many more times

User

Attended Castle Fraser's Harry Potter book night last night, it was magic! Such a bonnie place with friendly welcoming staff, happy to tell us about the castle and answer questions, the event itself was great as well. Defo be back

User

Gorgeous castle and grounds, had a fantastic time only downside was we didn't get much interaction from the guides which was especially disappointing for my 6yr old who was so excited for the guides and was looking for a quiz or something, we were pretty much left to our own devices x
