Today we had the pleasure of revitalising some old doors. The doors were removed from the hinges and taken to our yard, this is where any imperfections were filled then hand sanded. The doors then had one coat of primer and two coats of helmi which is a water base satin. All coats were applied using an airless spraying technique, which gave the door a flawless finish. I had 3 bedrooms decorated. Artex on all 3 ceilings removed, ceilings skimmed and painted. One room had papered walls , removed, skimmed and repainted. Both the other two rooms were properly prepped and repainted. 6 radiators sprayed, bathroom walls given 4 coats. I am over the Moon at the beautiful results. These guys do a beautiful job, they turn up exactly when they’ve said they will and work like Trojans to get it done for you. On top of that, they’re helpful, friendly blokes who also clean up after themselves. Will definitely be having them back when I get down to having the ground floor done.
