Some Monday motivation! It's difficult to not to contribute to waste when we live in a consumerist society, but here's some good wee tricks to apply.

Anyone up for a game of footie? Our youth intern, Clyde, has arranged a football match for tomorrow at 7pm at the Meadows. All are welcome - see you there!

🥖🥦🥔 What are you cooking up this Sunday?🥖 🥦🥔 Our intern Lauren and volunteer Rosa whipped up some wonderful dough balls for Friday Lunch last week! How delicious looking is the final product? 😋

Don't miss out on handcrafting some of your own oatcakes! This Monday, for our monthly Food Chain, we'll be sifting, muddling, and churning up some classic oatcakes and toppings. ALL welcome - the oatcakes will be vegetarian and vegan (without the traditional use of animal fat). Toppings will include: reduced sugar jams, goat's cheese, and clotted cream. ✍️ Fancy exploring your inner painter? 🖌 Former DP artist in residence and all-round gem, Rachel Ashton, is hosting a mixed media painting workshop tonight in the Ethical Gift Shop. There's still spaces avaliable, so be sure to grab them while you can!

This Friday Lunch will feature Alasdair Campbell, director of AC Projects, delivering a talk introducing the ideas behind his work in contemporary music with a short film and discussion of a new project being developed in collaboration with the Scottish Sculpture Workshop - The relationship between Traditions and the New. This Friday Lunch, artist Sophie Lindsey (and former DP intern!) will be joining us to talk about her recent project at Can Serrat, a residency centre in El Bruc a small Catalonian town just outside Barcelona. Here, she explored the relationship between art and tourism by examining the different systems/conventions at play in museums, specifically looking at TripAdvisor and museum gift shops. From 1pm on Friday in the Brander Kitchen, £2 suggested donation. All welcome! 🥗🥪 🥣

Our town collection needs YOU! The Minor Path is in need of some TLC from some overly enthusiastic plants, and we're looking for some folk to help us clear the way. From the banks of the River Bogie, to the train station, to Gladstone park (around 1km), we'll need some helpers for a wee jaunt and bash to help redefine the original path. Be sure to bring long troosers, gloves, sturdy footwear, and a strong stick! We'll be joined by Al Reeve of The Deveron, Bogie & Isla Rivers Charitable Trust & River Deveron District Salmon Fishery Board to talk us through the invasive species we'll be swatting away.
