I've enrolled in an on-line class run by the very talented Suzanne Esper Cake School to improve my sugar flower making skills. This is the first flower I've made - an avalanche rose. Pretty!

This was for a special birthday. The flowers are individually piped using royal icing - I think it gives a very pretty look.

This was set up at beautiful Castle Fraser Garden & Estate yesterday for super couple Janice and Rob. Janice is from Canada and Rob from Scotland so this was represented by the maple leaf and thistle on the middle tier. Stencil and piping detail on the bottom tier was to match Janice's dress. The hand painted tartan icing drape matched Rob's kilt. The flower topper was provided by Flower Vogue. Hope a great day was had by al! 😀

Gotta love a unicorn cake! Happy birthday to Colbie. Tip - If you want to make a unicorn horn roll out a sausage of fondant making it gradually thinner at one end. Put edible glue on the top two thirds of a wooden skewer and wrap the fondant round making a nice point at the end. 😁🦄🦄

I made this topper to go on the birthday cake for a young highland dancer. 😁

Congratulations to Eline and Robin who were married at gorgeous Innes House on Saturday. A simple buttercream cake brought to life with stunning edible florals and foliage supplied by the very lovely ladies from The Teeny Weeny Farm. I love how the natural backdrop suits it so much. Hope a great day was had by all. 😀

This was for Lynsey and Shaun who were married at The Mansefield Hotel & Mezzo Bistro on Saturday. Pretty and sleek with ruffles, lustre, some bling and sugar roses. Flavours were raspberry and white chocolate, carrot cake and lemon. Congratulations to you both! 😀

Congratulations to lovely couple Lisa and Geordie who were married at the Eight Acres Hotel yesterday. Right from the start they knew they wanted donuts to be a feature of the cake and this is what we came up with. 😊 Yummy looking donuts provided by the Strathisla Bakery and flowers by Bay Tree Florists. Congratulations to Matthew and Bethany who were married at lovely Maryculter House yesterday. A familiar design but with little changes to make it their own. And on the back remembering special loved ones. They chose strawberries and cream, sticky toffee and vanilla sponges. Hope you all had a great day! 😀

Second cake Evelyn has made for me. This time it was my little girls first birthday cake. The cake looked absolutely amazing and we received lots of lovely comments on it. The cake itself was delicious �

Over past few years I’ve had a good few cakes made by Evelyn and all of them have been fantastic! The detail of them are just incredible and taste amazing! �

Our wedding cake was delicious and everyone loved it. Evelyn took a design I had seen online and showed us ways to improve it. She was easy to deal with and could not have been more helpful from the cake tasting all the way to the delivery of our cake.

I just want to say a big thank you for the amazing cake you made for my daughters 2nd birthday. It was beautiful to look at, felt guilty cutting into it lol

I cannot express how delighted I was with my sons cake yesterday! It was so amazing that I was very reluctant to cut it! I kept the hand made giraffe figure on the top and he was fat too gorgeous to not keep! I had asked for a cake and left Evelyn to create one and what a surprise it was! Fantastic and thank you so so much!!

Evelyn made us a gorgeous semi-nice naked cake for our wedding with three different flavoured tiers - strawberries and cream, lemon and blackcurrent, and orange and chocolate. It looked and tasted phenomenal, we lost track of how many compliments we received! We will be coming back for more cake and would definitely recommend this talented and friendly cake wiz!

Evelyn made the cake for our wedding and it was absolutely beautiful as well as delicious!! Her attention to detail is remarkable, one of the tiers she made to match the tartan of the bridal party and she added pearl like beaded icing and thistles! Highly recommend!! Thank you!

Evelyn made 2 cakes for our wedding one traditional wedding cake with plain icing and holly and berries in icing at the bottom and the other a victoria sponge which was iced like it was covered in roses both looked amazing and tasted even better so good there was none left! I would highly recomend Evelyn shes so friendly and dose exactly as you ask thank you so much
