What a lovely meal and service at the Ferryhill last night! Food was excellent and the a lot of choice on the Gluten-free menu. Will be back! ļæ½

User

Went here for the first time on Friday the 22nd of September and treated my best friend to dinner and drinks. The location and interior is stunning! Everything from the food, service and staff were just perfect. Definitely recommend and will be back!ļæ½ļæ½

User

Went here for a birthday celebration yesterday for the first time. Canā€™t believe weā€™ve never come across this hidden gem before. The atmosphere, staff and food were amazing, there were 10 of us and everyone was pleased with their meal, plenty of choice to suit everyone, we will definitely visit here again.

User

We hadnt been here for a few years, but had seen you had recent renovated your bar so thought we would visit.

We were here on Friday past. Beautiful sunny day, so obviously going to be busy. We called a last minute to see if there was a table at the bar, manager said he could find us a table for 2. Arrived at 4.45 already lost of people outside tables all full. Arrived to be greeted with a busy bar. Bar Manager showed us to our table nearby while we ordered drinks.

We both ordered a main, and we could not complain. Food was hot, delicious and well portioned. The bar became busier and busier. Atmosphere great and everyone enjoying the sunshine.

The bar staff were so busy, no one stopped. We went up for drinks and admittedly we had to wait but everyone did. We decided to have desert which we waited a wee while for but couldnā€™t complain due to the sheer volume of people. Staff were all professional, attentive and apologetic (they didnā€™t need to be).

A special mention to Hannah the waitress who was outstanding. She never stopped. She was efficient, polite and still had a smile of her face!

We will defiantly be back soon. Couldnā€™t fault it. Well done to all the staff for keeping up with the volume of people including the bar, outside and restaurant.

User

Stayed here last night after driving all day to visit our first ever grandchild. Loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it. Rooms were to a very high standard. Diner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The whisky bar offered the perfect nightcap, whatever your taste. Staff work hard and are very attentive. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

User

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with very helpful and friendly staff. Food is really nice. Hadn't been for a few years and then back twice in the space of 10 days. Will be back soon I hope.

User

Just back from staying the night at this lovely hotel to celebrate my mams 80th birthday! I can't praise this hotel enough, it was perfect from start to finish! The rooms are spacious and well equipped, well worth every penny. We also had a meal for 20 family members in the restaurant and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. I will definitely be booking here the next time I'm in Aberdeen! Well done Ferryhill House Hotel!

User

Had drinks and dinner out on the patio, in the sun with group of friends. Service, food and drinks all fantastic. Only minor negative is the entry/exit drive, car chaos!! Why dont they make it wider?? Other than that all was fab. Recommend and will be back.

User

Had a lovely meal there a few ago everything was brilliant.. food was lovely and there is a great choice of gins available. Will definitely be back

User

Friendly service. Great food. Lovely setup with window views. We are here from Australia and would recommend this place. Came here night before to have a drink at the bar side. Lots of people sitting at tables outside having a drink and a chat. Great atmosphere. We were staying a few doors up so it was an easy walk after a busy day.

User

Food is always excellent, this is our "go to" eatery as we don't have to worry about choice or menu, staff are super friendly and attentive, surroundings cater for every need whether it's in the dining room/ conservatory, something a little more casual in the lounge bar area or outside in the garden on a sunny day, great for children too. Can't recommend it enough!

User

First time there Very friendly and service was great food was excellent certainly be back

User

Absolutely fantastic, rooms are beautiful, beds are comfy, food is great and staff are top notch. Will be back for sure

User

Went for early dinner and service was fine. My wife had scampi and I ordered beef madras, asked if I could change garlic naan for a plain one but didn't have plain. Madras was lovely though. Place was busy with quite a few reserved tables. Maybe not ideal having to walk through the smokers just at front door to get indoors though!!! ļæ½

User

Hadn't eaten at The Ferryhill for a while and was very disappointed at the portion size in comparison to how it used to be. I had beef stroganoff and left feeling hungry ļæ½. I must have had a max of two tablespoons of rice to accompany this dish. At Ā£15 for this main I wasn't impressed.

User

Was there for dinner tonight, not impressed at all.Was sitting outside and told I had to go in for my own cutlery and by time I came out my dinner had been ruined by the seagulls.Shocking service, why would you not take cutlery out when serving food?.Wont be back.

User
