We are open today but only until 5pm so pop in and grab a cheeky pint while doing your last minute shopping or pick up some take away beers for tomorrow. We're shut Christmas Day and Boxing Day and reopen our doors at noon on the 27th of December. 🎅❤️

Fourpure are here tonight!

As some of you already noticed we changed a few things around in the bar last week with the addition of some comfy wall seating (hence why we were shut earlier last week).
We decided to move our big can/bottle fridges next to the bar and replace the space with a cosy little booth that can seat up to 7 people. The comfy seating also continues up along the wall creating more space to sit.

It's our final Tap Takeover of the Year and what a way to go out. We are hosting a Stone Tap Takeover which will include some of their Cornerstone beers from Berlin & beers from the States. We will also be joined by Will France who is one of Stone's UK Brand Ambassadors and here to talk all things Stone.

Seriously though, great bar, great beers.

These guys consistently have great beer and I'm glad they have a tap room now. The staff is amazing and helpful and I'm happy I get to see the evolution of the pub as it comes together.

Contacted the brewery for a tasting session and they put me in contact with the manager. He went the extra mile and set this up for me and a friend. Cheese board was delicious, the beers are fantastic and the staff are knowledgable. � �

Awesome wee bar! Had my first visit last night. Great selection of beers and the 2 members of staff I was served by were very helpful and very accommodating with tasters to help me and my friend decide. Only thing was it got noisy very quickly inside but not much else to be expected on a Friday night when it's busy! Can't wait to go back and take my dog with me! �

Love the beer, love the music but too echoey and loud. Loud is good but not echoey!

Beers OK. Bar is OK for a start up, but needs baffles to deaden the noise - it’s too boxy and cacaphonous. Bar service could be improved - some staff liked to talk to other customers while serving me, which I found rude, and others liked to wander around without looking if anyone was waiting to be served. One bod was very efficient, and very busy.

Been four or five times now , think it’s great and the staff seem friendly and helpful , however one bad point ! Had been in on Thursday ev the 7th of June and had spoken to the bar staff about potential tasting sessions then could do at my work one evening , the staff had said it was likely but suggested I speak to some of the owners / managers , towards the end of the evening 1 of the owners / managers came up to me (while my friend had gone to the toilet) and was very stand offish and abrasive for no apparent reason ! Assuming he had came over regarding the the fact I had enquired earlier about a tasting session I explained my story again , he proceeded to mumble at me about events they had been to and when I asked him for an email he told me to speak to the bar staff and walked off !

Not entirely sure what the issue was , but I was made to feel like I was encroaching on his territory !
