Would just like to share that we have been to three weddings this year at The Fife Lodge Hotel and I can't tell you how impressed we have been with them. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and obliging, even hearing a story of the owner going up at 2am in the morning to provide room service for a sleepless bridal party! The food has been superb, going to great lengths to meet dietary requirements, providing delicious alternatives for those of us who like a veggie option. Freshly redecorated the mirrors on the function suite walls add a feeling of spaciousness and the toilets are sparkling and well kept ( a huge plus for me!) . The grounds are spectacular, offering a beautiful space for guests to enjoy and couples to have their photos taken..... Certainly giving other venues a run for their money I'd say.

We were there for a ladies' brunch, the first our church had organised. I'm sure we'll be back after the great experience - wonderful food and good service with friendly staff.

We visit the Fife Lodge Hotel frequently for lunch or evening meals it is one of our favourite places to eat. The staff are always friendly and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have a lovely selection on their menu at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend to anyone living or visiting the area.

We have been a few times, recently, for lunch. Always excellent. We noticed the menu for New Year dinner and promptly booked for the night as well. We were not disappointed. The room was spacious and spotless clean. The dinner? Where do I start? The scallops and the soup were our choice of starters and were delicious. My other half had the chicken and said the whiskey sauce was beautiful. My venison was to die for. Tender, tasty and the accompaniments were fantastic. Did not really have much room left but we forced ourselves😁. Cheese board and meringue / pavlova were last but not least. Oh my goodness, what an absolutely amazing meal. Thankyou so much.

We had our wedding at the Fife lodge yesterday and it couldn't have been more wonderful from start to finish. Linda, Claire and the team were amazing, especially as I will readily admit I am a high strung bride!



The hall was fantastic, the changeovers were quick. Everyone complimented the food. I just am so happy and so grateful for all their hard work.

Took my mum, Dad and 5 kids out for lunch yesterday. Didn’t have a reservation as was last minute, but Ainsley was very nice to make up a big table for us all in the cosy bar. My kids NEVER finish there plates no matter where we take them but all 5 plates were about licked clean!! Ainsley also changed a few items on the kids menu to keep them all happy.

And all I could hear from the corner is my dad with every mouthful of his steak ciabatta.....’mmm this is good’ �

Will definitely be going back. Thank you for a lovely lunch x

The Fife Lodge Hotel has played a big part in our lives. My wife, Elinor, and myself used to go there for a meal in our courting days and that is also where we were married. 19 years after our marriage there my wife walked in as an owner .After 15 years it passed to new owners We celebrated 40 years of marriage there and also our 43rd anniversary on 30:6:16. We are so pleased to see the Fife Lodge Hotel back up where it belongs amongst the top hotels in the area.

The Fife Lodge Hotel done a fantastic job for our wedding, and we are very glad with our choice. Staff were helpful from the moment we walked in, any questions that we had were answered immediately and all the staff were very friendly. The garden was very tidy, and we had some lovely pictures taken next to full bloom poppies. The ballroom looked fantastic and all of our guests were very happy. No faults atall with the food, and everything was timed perfectly well. Will defiantly recommend to friends.! :)

Popped in for lunch yesterday with my partner & our 3 yr old while up visiting my grandmother. Haven't been here for years and it was still the most picturesque place to have a meal. Staff & food were amazing as I always remember being every time i have visited.

Malcolm and I became Mr and Mrs Simpson at the Fife Lodge on July 27th 2013. It was a beautiful, sunny day where we were able to be married outside in the beautiful grounds. I received a red carpet and everything was well organised. The Fife Lodge team kept us well informed throughout the whole weekend and were very diligent, showing lots of care and passion for their work and towards us. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the hotel the night before and again, we could not fault anything.

We had a small blip with our table centre pieces that we ourselves had organised which meant we could not use them anymore and the Fife Lodge team went and sorted out new centre pieces for us the morning of the wedding and they were beautiful!

The meal was delicious and the transitions between different times of the day ran smoothly.

I have recommended this as a wedding venue to many people and will continue to as I feel the team at the Fife Lodge were very efficient and down to earth, making us feel very welcome.

Had the most amazing meal last night. Food was five star quality and the atmosphere was perfect, we always go to the Fife lodge and this is why. Great staff very welcoming and alway do there up most to please anyone. Thankyou for another wonderful evening xx

Had a very small intimate wedding for 8 people at The Fife Lodge on Friday. The only word we can use to describe the experience is perfection. Linda and her staff could have done no more for us and made us feel very special. The service we received and our meal was second to none. We thank you all for a very special day. Had a fantastic lunch on Sunday afternoon with my wife and it was amazing and so tasty. My beef and ale pie was cooked to perfection and Xmas pudding was delicious. My wife's scampi and pavlova went down a treat also. The staff were very helpful and full of festive cheer which made it a brilliant afternoon. Definitely be back again

Booked a meal for our sons birthday. The food was excellent, as was the service. Made more special by the fact they had put birthday banners up behind our table and birthday confetti on the table. Thank you so much Fife Lodge.

We visited for lunch with our three little dogs; dogs are not allowed in the hotel so we ate in the garden; it was as a sunny day so no problem. We were made to feel very welcome and the waitress made lots of fuss of the dogs; even volunteered to walk them around the garden while we ate our starter. :) Enjoyed our meals especially the Cullen Skink and an amazing raspberry and honeycomb dessert. All in all a very enjoyable lunch out.

Had lunch here yesterday! Cldnt fault it! Food was gd and so was the service! It was nice and cozy too as they had the fire on! I had my little boy with me and they made sure he had plenty of toys to entertain him whilst we waited for our food! Defo be back xx

Came here yesterday for a friends birthday meal. Loved the food. However the food portions are too small for what you pay. If you could increase the food portions and reduce the price. It would recieve 5 stars.
