This place inspired me to start one of my favourite hobbies in 2010 and I am still playing Yu gi oh from this very day!!

Many years ago this was the place where the manager helped me get a start with Hellblazer and this my obsession with ol Con Job started and my hatred for Keanu Reeves intensified :)

Love forbidden planet, it's got lots of different geeky things to please everyone :) so happy we have one in Aberdeen as most big cities have them x

I can't recommend this FP enough. The staff are completely approachable and friendly, and they've been consistently great at pairing me up with the right products, be they reading material, games, badges, or adorable little presents for friends. They've also hosted some pretty killer events, so it's a great place to meet friends with common interests.



For those of us who like to geek out in a safe space, Forbidden Planet Aberdeen is invaluable. Seriously, go there.

Great set out. Helpful and friendly staff. Was only in Aberdeen for Christmas shopping and came across this shop, defo worth a look!

Great selection of trade paperbacks and manga with friendly staff who are happy to offer recommendations. They have recently started stocking more tabletop games (upstairs, behind the till) and I have to say the selection there is now very good! Also, it's not my thing, but if you want Funko Pops in all shades of pop culture (Power Rangers, old Hanna Barbera, Disney) they have it!

Amazing customers service, always love going in and the staff are great at helping you out with whatever you're after. They even order stuff in for you!

AMAZING!! Love it in there. Staff are wonderful friendly and helpful. I like the boxes of random pop’s.

Good shop can be a little expensive though

Great selection of comics which I enjoy reading with my daughter, but after purchasing items from Forbidden Planet for over thirty years I've never had staff so blatantly follow us upstairs, hover over us and humiliate us as if we were shoplifters. This morbidly obese (no offense) staff member couldn't have been any more obvious! So as far as customer relations go I give this shop a ONE STAR rating and I'll take my custom elsewhere in future. VERY DISSAPOINTED !!
