About us
At Forest Farm we do things the organic way. We are proud to work with nature, where happy cows and passionate people come together to produce the freshest, most delicious and sustainable dairy products around.
Last year we brought fresh cream top milk and traditional glass bottles back to Aberdeenshire. Now we are full cream ahead to launch a range of exciting new products, including gelato style ice cream and natural yogurt. The products will be produced in our b...rand-new facility on the farm, using our fresh organic milk.
The Role
You will be working as an integral part of our small production team, creating and producing fresh products for our busy farm shop.
Everything on our farm grows organically and so should you! We are an ambitious expanding business and we are excited about your potential. We will work with you to grow and develop in the role – who knows where it could take you?
Responsibilities will include: product development, gelato and yogurt production, labelling, packing, record keeping, and stocking our farm shop and milk vending machines.
About you
Our dream team member would:
Have a passion for artisan food and drink.
Love gelato (ice cream). Talking about it, creating it, making it and sampling it.
Be passionate about the customer experience and have good communication skills.
Thrive working in a small team and be ready to get stuck in to any task.
Have a creative streak and enjoy learning new skills.
Have experience in the food and drink sector and be certified in basic food hygiene (preferred but not essential).

What a fantastic way to sell quality milk. Milk that hasn’t been transported half way round the country before it gets to you. Shame it’s a 80 mile round trip for us to get there! More farms should do this.

Went for the first time yesterday with my sister. We felt very welcomed and shown how to use the vending machine and also saw the cows getting milked. You can really taste the difference and makes a really fine hot chocolate drink

We visited today with my little girl, she loved watching all the cows being milked and coming to say hi at the window!! The Milk is amazing, we’ll be back for more! Such a great idea! Highly recommend.

Visited with my son yesterday at 4pm to buy my first pint of organic whole milk to try. He was delighted to see the cows being milked from the window and how close you could get. Never having bought whole milk before (son allergic) I was pleasantly surprised how nice my coffee tasted this morning! The milk vending machine is a genius idea and works very easily. Next time I will remember cash to buy my glass bottle to avoid plastic waste too.

Visited today for the first time, transported me back to how milk used to taste. We will be back everytime we pass through.

Visited today for the first time! My girls were delighted to see the cows and the farmers so close up! They were particularly taken with the cows that went past the window and kept coming back to say hi!!! What a fantastic place, so welcoming and great to be able to use the vending machine and buy fresh eggs! The only downside is that the milk I bought is nearly gone already, so I am annoyed I didn't buy more! Thank you so much! We will see you very soon for some more! ���

Visited today and got to see the milking and I drunk some straight away and it was amazing! Very happy cows and one happy me for some amazing milk!

The milk is amazing. My mum has been buying me the milk for a few months now, went with her today for the first time and bought a second glass bottle so that we have extra in the fridge.

Stopped in bye on Monday. Why have I been intending to do it for so long?! Stole the cream off the top for my Frosties - took me right back to my childhood. This is ‘real’ milk, not the sham you drink from blue topped plastic! Thank you Forest Farm ❣️I’ll be a regular from now on with my glass bottle; another brilliant blast from the past 😁😁

Proper milk not fannyed about with. It hasn't done a world trip of distribution centres either.



And to my great surprise, it tastes like milk when I was a kid. Not the cold white water you get in Tesco's.

My son and I moved out of the city to be closer to family and didn’t know area well or things to do. My son despite being only 14 months Is Cow obsessed and one of us first words was “moo” (he was bought up next to cow farm) was suggested by local farmer to visit your dairy farm as I am constantly trying to find things to do with him and he absolutely loved Seeing the cows up close And the milk looks delicious. I can’t wait to give him his 1st cup. Was a shame we couldn’t get closer to the Cows and have a chat to Farmers but could see they were really busy � Would definitely recommend for organic milk From this dairy and worth a trip to see the process !!

My normal route to work was diverted a few weeks ago and now I pass by the farm on the diversion. Been meaning to stop in to try the milk and finally got a bottle today. That is some delicious milk! I was concerned it would be stupidly expensive but it is very reasonable. I've been trying to find a place to buy milk in glass bottles to reduce the amount of plastic I use and this works perfectly... Will definitely be buying most of my milk here, probably gonna get a bottle to drink at work each day too.

Moved into the area a couple months ago and thought we would finally try Forest Farm Organic Dairy - the most awesome experience and amazing business ethics and we will 1 million percent be back �� I hate milk on its own and have always struggled to drink it but this stuff is absolutely gorgeous and to die for! Even went at the right time to see the cows getting milked through the big viewing window which for someone like me who dreams of being a farmer was so exciting! As fresh as can be �� Thank you for such a great experience and we will definitely be back! �

Love this place, a fantastic idea and the milk is simply the best!!! Made the greatest strawberry milkshake with it too��

Had our first visit on Saturday to try the milk we have been hearing so much about. Didn't dissapoint! Creamy beautiful milk, how it should taste! We don't live close by but I'm hoping one day you maybe introduce a milk man delivery service just like the good old days!

Found out about this amazing milk on Saturday at the kintore summer festival. Been to shop, bought another 2 glass bottles and filled up!! So chuffed to be able to support a local business and not use plastic cartons either! Simply fantastic.

First visit today but won’t be the last. I didn’t know milk could taste this good! Happy cows, lovely farmers, awesome milk. Definitely worth a visit.

Came in past yesterday for the first time, and let the children fill up their own milk cartons... They had so much fun doing it, and even wrote about it in their homework!!

The milk is really yummy and very creamy, will defo be back soon. �
