Freshly Centered is run by Tracy Ward. She provides matwork, small equipment Pilates classes and one-to-one Pilates sessions in Aberdeen's west end. Freshly Centered also host regular luxury Retreat Days, online workouts and healthy living blogging.

Freshly Centered Description

Freshly Centered provides high quality matwork and small equipment pilates classes in the West End of Aberdeen, 1-2-1 sessions, luxury Retreat Days, online home workouts and blog posts.

Tracy is a fully qualified APPI Pilates Instructor (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute), and also an APPI Course Presenter, where she trains other physiotherapists UK wide to become APPI pilates teachers. As a experienced Chartered Physiotherapist, specialising in musculoskeletal, spinal, and sports injuries Tracy can expertly tailor your classes to suit all levels and conditions.

Weekly classes currently run on Wednesday evenings:
5. 15-6pm, 6-7pm, 7-8pm
1-2-1 sessions are arranged at a convenient time to suit both.

All mats and equipment are provided and I only suggest that you bring a small hand towel for your head support, water, and wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Classes are by booking only and run in 6 week blocks. I allow deductions for prior arrangements, holidays etc, however I unfortunately do not refund if you later cannot make it.

Tonight’s home exercises from class! For each one engage core first! Aim to do these 3-4times before next week!
Clam: squeeze feet together and open top knee then down again, smoothly with control. Lift & lower: raise top leg upwards & down with control. Aim for 2x10 each side.
... Side bend: squeeze inner thighs and lift hips upwards, bringing arm overhead. Aim for x3 on each side of 10-20seconds!

**PILATES HOME EXERCISES of this week!** Roll ups: roll gently off the sitting bones to round the spine, then stack back up tall. Spine twist: legs out long. Rotate spine to one side, then to the other. Saw: repeat as per the twist but this time with open arms, rotate and lengthen down the leg. Aim for x8 of each and repeat for 2-3sets! ... Try 3 x this week, or daily! 👍🤸‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️

Tracy is genuinely one of the best fitness instructors I've ever had. Her attention to the class means you always feel she knows how you're doing individually and makes adjustments that work for you (or pushes you that bit harder when you need it!). And the retreat days are just so much fun!

Tracy is fantastic at what she does. I started going to Freshly Centered to help with on going back/shoulder pain, after a recommendation from my physio. I feel like a new person after every class with Tracy. She makes sure there are plenty variations for different abilities and checks everyone is carrying out the moves correctly and understands her instruction. I really wouldn't want to go to any other Pilates Instructor in Aberdeen.
