Evening folks,
We would like to thank everyone who has supported Haar Rock Coffee over the last two years.
From Monday the Loirston shop will be closed until 14th December where the new management team and Cafe will be taking over the operation. We will be helping with the handover and expect new ideas / menu / opening hours and kids clubs to follow soon. Watch out for more communication and updates in due course.
... We will still be heavily involved in supporting the community and local business but with a change in personal circumstances it’s a necessary change for us.

We organised a baby shower with afternoon tea at Loirston. Nothing was too much trouble for Grant and Toni, they were a great help with setting up, music etc. The afternoon tea was amazing! I can’t recommend them enough. We will definitely be back! X

We had a great afternoon at a private baby shower this afternoon! Gary and John were both first class, would highly recommend!!

Thanks to the special effort from Haar Rock staff who catered for my daughter who is allergic to diary at a 1st birthday party today. They not only provided a lovely selection of diary free food including cake but asked me in advance her likes and honestly it didn't feel like any hassel to them at all.Thanks so much xx

Thank you to the Haar Rock Cafe in Loirston for closing their doors to allow us to hold our NCT 1st Birthday Party. Service was great, the young server was lovely and the gent who put on frozen for our twins was a life saver. The food was great for the children and adults too! A real hidden gem. Thank you xoxo

My friend and I went to the Loriston cafe today for a prosecco afternoon tea which was wonderful. The lady working was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The selection of cakes and sandwiches was great and so plentiful we had to take the rest home. With corkage of £3 per person, bringing your own bottle (or two) is very reasonable. There was a relaxed atmosphere and they even called a taxi for us when we left. We will be back!

I love this place. I went to The Haar Rock the very first week it opened and I've frequented it ever since once at twice at least most weeks. Sometimes for coffee and a cake, sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for lunch. I work from home so it's sometimes nice to get a change of scenery and take the laptop down there for an hour or 2 and get some work done uninterrupted without the temptation of sticking the tele on. The staff have never been anything but kind and attentive and the food has never been anything but top notch, from the home bakes to the full breakfasts to the UK Fitness food lunches. The soup is always delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this local cafe to anyone and everyone.

I had my baby shower here today, I had no idea it even existed but it was brilliant!! The afternoon tea was lovely and the cakes so fine! We had the whole place to ourselves too! The young girl that was working was absolutely brilliant she was so accommodating and friendly, a credit to your team! I didn’t get her name but she was lovely!

Held my friends baby shower here today . Was amazing . Such a lovely place . The hight tea was simply amazing and so much choice . The staff are all lovely we had a great time today . Its perfect place for a baby shower � and we will def pop in past for coffee when we pass x

Have to give a massive thank you to Haar Rock Charleston who went above and beyond to give me the best start on my wedding day. Opening early so me and my bridal party could get a hearty breakfast before heading for hair and Make up. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing service thanks �

Had a lovely meal yesterday lunchtime at the Haar Rock Loirston with my husband, Grandaughter and her boyfriend along with our 3 dogs who were treated to some lovely sausages. The service was excellent, the food was lovely. Will be back very soon thankyou again forgot to ask the gentleman who served us his name but look forward to going back.

Had Breakfast with Santa this morning- was really lovely! Great breakfast for the little one and our breakfasts and coffees were good too. Well done to Gillian (I think that’s her name) for running the morning, she did an excellent job. Santa and his elf were really good with the kids and present was great too. Thanks again HRC ��

Dropped in to Haar Rock at Charleston today. Arrived just after 3 and was advised that they stop serving hot food at 3 but were happy to make my son and I what we wanted. It’s the little things like this that make Haar Rock stand out. Service and food were excellent as usual. Thanks a lot guys!!!

Brilliant! I discovered this place this morning. I arrived bleary eyed at 8.40am and with dismay saw the opening time was 9am. With sad eyes i turned to leave but then the hero barista said "do you just need a coffee? I can do that no problem". Yaaasss!!!! Then i get chatting to the owner and he tells me of their second cafe in Loiriston, Cove which opens at 7.30am.

I thoroughly recommend going here. Boooo to Starbucks and YAY to independent businesses who need our custom.

Big thank you to the Haar Rock team for executing my surprise baby shower perfectly!! The afternoon tea was delicious, so many delicious cakes with the option to take anything home which is always a nice touch. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and nothing was too much trouble. Obviously I'm bias ;) but all the girls absolutely loved it so if you are thinking of private hire for any special occasion, would highly recommend either of the Haar Rock shops in Cove :)

Awesome takeaway lunch and coffee again.

The new soup and panini and sandwich deli bar are great, and the coffee is roasted locally (well to me anyway) at sunny Arbroath.

Can’t believe people still buy that bitter, overpriced rubbish from the Starbucks drive through when you can’t get this stuff. Keep up the good work Grant and the team ��

1st visit this morning with family, we all had the breakfast... absolutely beautiful.... sat outside too .... lovely cafe & lovely staff, will definitely be back x

Haar Rock hosted our NCT babies 1 year birthday party at their Loirston cafe. We got exclusive use of the cafe - which was excellent ) I’m not sure other customers would have liked 7 babies crawling about � ) the service was good and the food yum! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was there was no decaf coffee for this prego Mamma � thank you for welcoming us and I will defo recommend to others �

Went in for lunch today with my boyfriend service was poor wasn’t even busy and when we eventually got our food I was given toast that was covered in mould, then a poor effort at giving me a fresh portion as the bread wasn’t even toasted.

Opening hours state 4PM but go in at 2.30 to be told shop is closing and no stock is a joke
