Chicken and #haggis terrine served with my onion and tarragon relish. Created this dish for a menu back in 2003, still a firm favourite.

Chilled salmon topped with a caper and tarragon mayonnaise and lemon pepper dressed samphire and courgettes.

Hatters catered for a medieval banquet at #Dairsiecastle last night for the direct descendants of Bishop Spottiswoode. Dishes included Farts of Portingale, our pastry encased wild boar , poached chicken in saffron, peas with onions and sippets and syllabub.

Some of my best customers are peacocks don't you know! They particularly love a spot of cranachan!

I love what I do! Last night I had the pleasure of cooking for the lovely Sam and Rachel staying with us all the way from San Diego . Our little micro restaurant "Le Petit Chapeau" was the perfect setting for a summery 4 course meal. After some nibbles I served filo baskets filled with creamy leeks, camembert and bacon, followed by a fragrant lovage broth. The main course was chicken breast stuffed with sundried tomotoes, garlic, basil and feta served on a bed of garden her...b crushed potatoes with a Portuguese rose, basil and tomato sauce and to finish a light salted caramel and chocolate mousse. A lovely summers evening cooking for lovely people. Xx

The Hatters herb garden at Wonderland cottage is coming on nicely, particularly my favourite herb #lovage or as we call it #Maggi this beastie was a wee baby my mum sent up from our garden in London 16 years ago and has settled into its second home in Scotland very happily.

A super busy weekend styling the lovely Carla and Bal's wedding at Kinkell Byre . We created this Indian Summer chill out seating zone using pallets, lots of exotic fabrics, rugs, bunting and lanterns.

I was delighted to cater for the lovely Diana and Ronan at the stunning #Kinblethmont House on Saturday.

Things you can do with your #WILDGARLIC #PESTO. #Scottish cheddar and walnut wild garlic pesto stuffed pork burgers....Tonight's tea...yum!!!

Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Superb food, superb service.

We used Stella to do the decor for our wedding at Kinkell Byre. She did an incredible job for us and was super helpful in the run up.

Visited today. Fabulous way to spend an afternoon in the sunshine, eating VERY tasty treats and drinking a delicious vinegary raspberry iced drink. All served in true Hatter style.

Definitely worth a visit.

Thank you so much to Stella for a perfect dinner party as part of my sister’s hen weekend celebrations at Pitcairlie House. Nothing was too much hassle and Stella expertly curated a delicious three-course menu for us. The table decorations including sequin tablecloths, candles and flowers made it feel even more of a treat and it was great to have our own waiter, Sam, who did a fab job. Needless to say the food was amazing. Thanks again Stella, we loved it! �

I popped in for the first time today but it definitely will not be the last time!! Coffee and cakes are delicious! Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Have had excellent bacon butties on gluten free bread with some very good coffee at Hatters.

Food was totally amazing, Stella & Tracy were so friendly and lovely too! Would absolutely recommend!

First visit today, certainly won't be the last, lovely setting, great service, beautiful food
