The team would like to thank longside primary school for inviting us to attend there school gala today. The team had a fantastic time and would also like to thank grill 67 for the lovely food they generously supplied us.

EXERCISE 19/6/19
The team got a bit wet last night as they headed down to the marina to do some water rescue training. They did a few different scenarios working with throw lines the strecher and casualty care. Also learning a few new ways to extract a casualty from the water using the equipment at hand. It was also the first exercise with some of our new recruits who have one last assessment before being on call 24/7. Thanks to Calum Christie s3b for a good training night.

CALL OUT JOB NO 16 ON THE 14/6/19
... The team were tasked from previous call out at Fraserburgh.
As the team was leaving the first shout they were tasked back to Peterhead to a fishing boat showing wrong command on ships AIS. 2 Coastguard team members went on board to establish the problem. Problem now resolved boat is now safe. And safety advice giving.
Teams stood down 15.32 hours.

CALL OUT JOB NO 15 ON THE 14/6/19
... The team were paged at 13.18 hours to reports of a vessel with a fouled propellor in Fraserburgh bay.
As everyone spent the day with loved ones on fathers day the team dropped everything to respond to there pagers to help someone in need, Teams were tasked to assist Fraserburgh lifeboat with a yacht which had a fouled prop just off Fraserburgh. Yacht now safely back in Fraserburgh harbour all P.O.B safe and well.
Also in attendance were Fraserburgh CRT and Fraserburgh lifeboat who were also launched to assist Teams stood down 14.39 hours.

Today we stand shoulder to shoulder with Les Sauveteurs en Mer - SNSM and all French search and rescue crews after hearing the tragic news that they have lost three of their own.

EXERCISE 5/6/19
A bit of a wet night tonight for our exercise but we have to train in all weather. We took the new recruits out on a search. The OIC split the recruits into 2 search teams to start a search of the area. Both teams met up and found the casualty. They then practiced some casualty handling to see what they had remembered from the course they attended last week. All recruits done a very good job...well done.

... The team were paged at 11.38 hours to reports of a dog in trouble at cruden bay.
Second shout in 2 days as the pages went off again today for a dog being swept out to sea at Cruden bay the team made there way to the incident, on arrival Cruden bay CRT were already on scene and dog had made its way back to the beach and reunited with its owner. Dog and owner safe and well.
Also in attendance were Cruden bay CRT, Fraserburgh CRT and Aberdeen lifeboat were also launched to assist Teams stood down 11.58 hours.

CALL OUT JOB NO 13 ON THE 4/6/19
... The team were paged at 10.54 hours to reports of personal items found on beach.
The pagers went off today to assist police Scotland at Whitelinks beach inverallochy. The Team left the station and made there way to the scene but were stood down on route as police Scotland found the casualty.
Also in attendance were Fraserburgh CRT and Fraserburgh lifeboat Team stood down 11.11 hours.
