We never stay anywhere else when visiting Ballater. Beautiful area, perfect location, so much better since new owners have taken the time and effort to update and modernise.

We have been staying at the lodges for several years and it's great to see the work that is now going into them. Gordon and Jennifer are doing a fantastic job and take care of anything that is required although everything is in place from the start. Looking forward to returning.

We are just back from a weekend at the lodges and I would highly recommend them. The lodge was clean, cosy and very well equipped with everything you need to stay (apart from your clothes and toiletries). The tea, coffee and shortbread in the lodge was much appreciated on our arrival. The area is lovely and quiet even though it’s only a few minutes from the centre of Ballater where you can find all the shops and eating places if you choose to eat out. Gordon was on hand if you needed anything and it was just the most perfect place to spend the weekend.

Very cosy lodge even when it was very cold outside (well into the minus temperatures) also very clean and spacious.

Gordon is very welcoming and cant do enough to help (even tho we did not have any problems).

We did not want to come home we will definitely be returning in the future. :)

Stayed here a few times. Very friendly and extremely clean. Quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here a couple of years ago stayed in both sizes and found the lodges exceptional look forward to returning with my newest edition to the family

Really clean and nice little touches such as milk in the fridge and cleaning products available. Gordon will bend over backwards to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Chalets are being upgraded as an ongoing project. Highly recommend!

Lovely lodges all mod cons .great company except for me as I had a very painfull foot and missed out a lot as I couldent walk much .Reallya nice wee break away .

Just wanted to say that we had a fantastic stay and the bad weather didn't dampen our mood . Gordon s hospitality was very welcoming and the lodges were spacious and clean . Both me my husband and the children will be returning and would recommend. ... :-)

Just had a lovely family weekend at Invercauld Lodges with my family. We rented three lodges and they were all great. Lovely and clean with comfy beds. We will definitely be back.

Just back from spending 3 nights at the Invercauld Lodges. Would highly recommend to anyone. Lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want. Will definitely be back.

Just back from lodges, myself and my family had a great time, Gordon always goes that extra mile to make sure we enjoy ourselves, Ballater will always be special to me as I grew up there, the lodges are lovely, anyone thinking of going I highly recommend it,thanku can't wait till next year

The lodges are warm, clean and cozy. Have everything you can think of for your time there, apart from your food and toiletries obviously 🙄 ladies a hairdryer, coffee drinkers a cafetière, dishwasher, iron I could go on.



We'll be back and would definitely recommend ☺️

Great place very dog friendly and very helpful. Lodges are extremely clean and totally refurbished. Will be back!

Great little lodges, right in Ballater, absolutely everything provided, the hosts certainly go the extra mile for all their guests! Well worth a visit!

Didn't know what to expect but it's perfect. Fully equipped including a wee welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. Lodges are comfortable and really cosy. The village square is a 10 minute walk with shops having everything you need. Chinese, Indian and Chippy all in the village. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners who are happy to help with anything. Access to cycling, skiing, walking and adventure if it's what you're looking for or relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We'll be back.

Beautiful place, clean and cosy! Gordon and Jennifer are great hosts who would do anything for the comfort of their guests, wonderful people, wonderful place. Would 100% recommend�
