National Convention yesterday at Morris Equestrian Centre. The afternoon had a great line up of coaching mentors. With Yogi, Richard, Ros & Caroline. Perhaps would have liked to have seen more use being made of these guys so we could all gleam even more from them. Very interesting, innovative development and ideas as always from Sam York. Everyone needs to appreciate the massive amount of work that goes into these conventions.

Thoroughly enjoyed coaching with Sue Hendry -Elastic Coaching at British Eventing Scotland camp with amazing ground conditions at Burgie Eventing Centre. Great opportunity for everyone to be able to dressage, SJ and XC on grass. Thank you Suzy Dun as always. I hope everyone felt they had something to take away from the sessions.

Last week was busy with pole work at Fountain Equestrian Centre. Attached is a selection of the work achieved by some of my Monday evening training sessions & Gordon Dressage Group Tuesday evening and Friday morning. Although some of you may thing this all looks quite complicated, every horse/pony seems to take to it whether a dressage horse, pc pony, jump horse.... Excited ones focus and settle, the rather steady ones perk up and get interested in their work. All levels and aspirations of rider seem to thoroughly enjoy these sessions.

I apologise, my phone cut some of you out when it did the slide show. Have to say the 5.30 schoolie group were particularly brilliant last night and very entertaining

Christmas Monday night jumping. Great festive spirit and jumping. Have a fabby Christmas, thank you for all your custom and support. Dates for 2019 emailed out this week.

All set up for Gordon Dressage Group at Fountain Equestrian Centre

Fountain Equestrian Centre arena set up ready to warm up for the first group of riders for today's British Eventing Scotland arena xc techniques training. Jen is an outstanding Coach who has helped me for a number of years. She is extremely dedicated and you can always walk away having learnt something and have something to go away and work on. Jen is always enthusiastic and her passion for her work really shows in what she delivers. Top banter included for free in every lesson, couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Jen is a brilliant coach for all ages and abilities. I always gain a huge amount from my sessions with her. She has been a huge inspiration to me both as a competition rider and a fellow coach.

I love my Jen lessons. Jen was a huge help to me in my progress towards my Wobbleberry Challenge and attempting my first BE80 (she will be a part of me making right round the XC eventually too) she helped me get my mare over a log on the ground and built us up in confidence and height. She has used the same great encouragement and confidence building to help both our kids progress too.

Fully recommend. Jen is a great coach and rider who gets the best out of any partnership.
