It’s Christmas and that’s usually the excuse for the whole month... oh well I’ll just eat that/drink that, cause “it’s Christmas” 🤷‍♀️
Some tips try try and keep things under control...
1 - Everything in moderation, yes enjoy the food but don’t go crazy.
... 2 - Keep active, that doesn’t mean you have to be in the gym everyday, go for a walk with friends, just keep active.
3 - Don’t leave it too long, try and get back on track... sooner rather than later!

It’s important to have goals so you actually have a purpose to what you’re doing and something work towards. A goal is something that you want to achieve therefore you have focus and direction which is in turn motivational 🙌🙌
It’s that time of year where people start to loose motivation because of the weather or dark nights or “it’s Christmas” which can be the favourite excuse in December.
So why not set yourself a goal to keep you motivated over the festive period and keep... up the training throughout, rather then letting things slide and having to start again in the New year? Remember, consistency is key!

Five years ago I was overweight and very unfit. I would lose my breath climbing the stairs or running around playing with my daughter and dogs . I lacked confidence and felt terrible about myself. Well what can I say - I have always hated gyms and always feel inferior in them. Never felt confident to be in one until I met Jen, she spoke to me about what she does and why not give it go. Never forced or felt pressured.



I let her know I had a lower back and weak Glute problem. Jen took this on board a year ago and She knew I wanted to get back to my passion of running in the hills pain free with an added triathlon thrown in.



I am now doing this and I have just accomplished my first leg extension squat using the TRX ( not really sure what the exercise is called but it used to be painful)



I feel stronger, more confident and look forward to the sessions.



I can’t thank Jen enough as I was away to give up on something I like doing, she listens and gets you to where you want to be

Jen has been involved in my fitness training for many years. Box-fit training class has been a staple for all of that time but I have increasingly used her Personal Training expertise.

My job involves a lot of travelling and Jen expertly tailored a fitness program for me that I can use in any gym or even a hotel room. I called on her expertise again to help recuperation from surgery exactly one year ago. I can honestly say her pre and post surgery programmes were absolutely instrumental in my speedy full recovery. (Thank you so much Jen).

Everybody wants a level of Fitness and a healthy diet, but life has many distractions that act as reasons and excuses to delay the start or the continuance of best laid plans.

With Jen in your corner, her knowledge, experience and commitment enable you to plan and achieve your goals. I no longer think ‘I wish I could’, with Jen Innes. I can and will.

I’ve been having PT sessions with Jen for almost a year now. Before starting with her I was scared to go near the weights/machines area as I hadn’t a clue how to properly work the equipment and I hadn’t any idea what weight I was able to lift without doing myself some damage (probably 1kg back then). Fast forward nearly a year and I am delighted that I approached Jen for PT as I’m 100% certain that I would have quit the gym or I would still be plodding away on the treadmill. I’m happy to say I am still loving my PT sessions each week and mostly the results I am seeing from the training. Jen will encourage you to give it your best at every session as well as making it fun and a laugh.

I started off going to Jen's group PT on Saturday mornings which I really enjoyed. I decided to take the plunge and go for 1on1 PT sessions. Jen pushes you to your limits. She has introduced me to weights and more gym stuff and I am loving this. Look forward to my PT session every week to see how much further I can go. I have been for 5 weeks and am already noticing a change in my body shape. I would highly recommend Jen as a personal trainer/

I love attending Jen's Group Personal Training sessions on a Saturday morning. Great fun as part of a team training session to suit all levels of ability. Jen pays attention to detail to ensure we get the most out of our own individual level plus easily adapting each exercise to suit each person.

I have met Jen years ago in Bannatynes and have tried to avoid her classes with all means. My impression was “not nice, strict, shouty”... no chance for her to boss me around....

How wrong was I?????

Jen is one of the nicest person I have met, her approach to people is simply wonderful and always amaze me how easily she can get on with everyone. Before I have started my PT with Jen I was all about cardio, never did much weight/muscle work out. With Jen’s professional way of training and motivation I have change my exercise routine completely. Jen is very competent, experienced and focused on her work, her knowledge is rather impressive. She makes you to work hard in the best possible way, explains all the techniques to achieve maximum result whatever your goal is. I highly recommend Jen to anyone who is looking for effective training, I can assure you that with Jen Innes you will succeed.
