We use the hardwood briquettes in our multi fuel stove. They light easily, and produce a tremendous amount of heat. Best of all, the moisture content is so low compared to even kiln dried logs, so we don't have to worry about residue building up in the flue.

Jack is amazing-even when I muddle up my order! Super quick delivery every time. I can't recommend JS Biomass highly enough.

We are both very impressed with the Briquettes! Very easy and clean to use and give off a very good heat. Good price and long lasting.

Your video was very informative and helpful.

We don't use our stove all the time but will definitely purchase them again over logs.

Very happy with my first order. It took me only 5 minutes to get my fire to a great blaze! Wil definitely be ordering more also got the bag of wood pellets for my cats there better than any shop pellets iv had (no smell) great price, free delivery to my house, Jack arrived when he said he would. What is not to love about this friendly local business!! X

So easy to use and very clean burning. 3 blocks lasted 2-3 hours burning and much more heat given off than you would get from wood. First time I ordered late at night and jack dropped off order in the morning at a time that suited us. Just received our second batch and was dropped off within 5 minutes of ordering (on a Saturday both times!!)

Really very impressed with the hardwood bio briquettes, slow burning, practically instant heat, burning them on lowest setting on wood burner. Clean and easy to use by disabled person. Would certainly recommend the briquettes.

Ordered brickettes for our woodburning stove which is used to heat a large room. Boy do they burn hot, easy to light and clean and easy to handle and store, plus good price. Jack also was a very good communicating with us and made the effort to come and see our stove, and showed a real interest. First class.

Last year we were asked to trial and review JS Biomass Wood Pellets for our horses’ bedding. We’ve gone from straw to shavings over the years, but were keen to try the wood pellets.

In each of the two stables we used 4 -5 bags of pellets, leaving a wide space along the front of the stable for feed and water buckets. The pellets were lightly sprinkled with two watering cans of water, which turned about half of the pellets into sawdust.

Each morning the soiled and wet areas were easily removed from the beds using a metal close pronged fork allowing the dry sawdust to fall through, back into the bed. We were surprised at the length of time the pellets lasted before they needed topped up, the stables smelled better, and how easy in general the pellets were to use.

Amazingly our Connemara’s bed didn’t need topped up for 3 weeks and it didn’t smell either! Our Anglo Arab needed his bed topped up more often, as he wees far more and is quite restless, but despite this the wood pellets coped well.

Mucking out has never been quicker or easier since we changed to the pellets and our muck heap has diminished in size too.

JS Biomass prices are very competitive and the wood pellets come in 15kg bags and can be stacked easily. (preferably under cover)

We’ve been totally converted to wood pellets now and would be very reluctant to go back to shavings, and therefore we have no hesitation in recommending JS Biomass wood pellets.

Just started using the briquettes tonight and we are really impressed. Really good heat from them and seem to last ages. Threw 4 in the stove and they lasted 4 hours. Delivered to my house at a reasonable price at the time/day that suited us. Good price for the quantity of bricks we bought. Would definitely recommend using JS Biomass.

I've just bought and liking so far.

Light the bricks (easily), let fire catch for 5 mins then turn it low. Return in 2-3hrs to restock - fab!

No constant checking to see if the fires gone out.

From 4pm-11pm I used 5 bricks.

Plus it stacks neatly and compact in the garage. No spending 45mins moving logs after a delivery!!

I'd been buying various brands of pellets (pretty much been through them all) for my Biotech 25kw boiler from various national suppliers, when I stumbled across Jack, needless to say I decided to trial his product since I always prefer to buy locally. There's been 2 ton through the boiler and what a product. Ash is very fine and no sign of clinker or clumps what so ever. The first sign that I knew this was good, was when emptying the pellets into the day tank, there's virtually no dust. Previous other brands would literally make you cough, and there would be handfuls of dust left at the bottom of the bag, which in my opinion left the clumps of ash in the tray.

Very friendly company to deal with, delivery's come on time when promised. I cannot fault them at all and would 100% recommended Js biomass.

I moved onto these wood pellets about 4 weeks ago now. I find them great. I used 7 bags to start off and use 1 a week. They keep my coloured gelding (who can be quite messy) very clean. He’s not had one stable stain since being on them. The wet is contained in one area and the poop stays on the top of the bed and not mushed in. I find them much cheaper than shavings and a lot cleaner and more absorbent than straw. The only thing about them is that it sticks in their feet and makes a mess down the yard. I hoof pick before I bring him out his stable. I would recommend these.

Great product for horse bedding. Pellets are slightly larger cut and darker that those i have used in the past. This makes for a "fluffier" bed. Very cost effective and easy to manage, plus drastically reduces the muck heap. I love the fact that the sacks are easy open, and recyclable/reusable. Great company to deal with. We put in an SOS order and Jack delivery, unloaded and stacked all 66 bags for us himself. Would highly recommend

Extremely impressive customer service from Jack, with a fast, easy and reasonable priced delivery to Glasgow. I was a life long straw user until making the switch to wood pellets for horse bedding and I have found the main benefits to be the substantial time savings during the dark winter months and the lack of smell! Using approx 2 bags per week for the horse and 1 bag a week for the pony bed.

Use briquettes for our stove / central heating. Stove maintenance and heat produced is distinctly better than just wood.

Can’t recommend these products enough. Use the wood pellets for horse bedding and just love them. So easy to muck out with very little waste so great value for money too. I also use them for cat litter and they are much better than the ones you buy in shops.

Have recently put a multi fuel stove in and have been using the briquettes on it. They are fab. Burn for a long time and throw out a lot of heat. No sparks and very little waste so very economical.

Delivery is easy. Jack always lets you know when he is coming and is never late. Love the fact that it is a local business too so helping the local economy.

Absolutely love the briquettes supplied by Jack - almost instant heat, slow burning, no mess or smoke so you don’t get blackened glass, easy to store - life is so much easier now I’ve found this product, happily light the log buner for just an hour or two if I come home later as it’s so quick and easy now.
