Just how lucky have couples who tied the knot this summer been with the weather? It has been an absolute scorcher, but our weddings have been cool, calm and collected in our climate-controlled ballroom.

Marriage is all about give and take and compromise. Can’t agreed on what favours to give your wedding guests? Then go for his and hers!

User

You’ve planned your wedding day with precision…if only your guests were just as organised! If your guests are being a little uncooperative, just ask Karolina, our wedding expert, what to do.
Q We sent out RSVP cards with pre-paid envelopes along with our invitations – more than a third have still not replied and we’re past the cut-off date. We need to give final numbers to our venue, so what do we do?
A Don’t worry – this happens all the time! Although this is frustrating, it will be even more annoying, and possibly embarrassing, if you count a guest out and they turn up on the day. There’s only one thing for it: you will have to start calling those who have not responded, but if you have quite a few you could always rope family in to give some help.

Couples who get married at the hotel tell us that the day goes past in a blur – and they always wish they had more time to spend with their guests. Why not get together with your nearest and dearest for a meal the night before or for lunch the day after in our new-look bar and restaurant?

Classic white or a pop of colour? What kind of flowers would you prefer to have on your wedding day?

How much are we loving this simple table decoration? A string of fairy lights inside a bottle – elegant, sophisticated and best of all it won’t break the bank!

User

Here’s a fantastic idea for the board game fans out there! Place names from Scrabble letters – we love this!

Chair ribbons are great…but what about door ribbons? Delighted to provide something a little bit different to a couple who recently tied the knot with us

The team are on hand again today at the Turriff Show. Pop by and say hello to Santa’s Elf’s 🎅

We’re well into summer wedding season now and it’s great to see the vintage theme as strong as ever. Just how cute are these bird cages that took centre stage as table decorations at one of our recent weddings?

User

If it’s one thing our wedding planner Karolina loves, it’s helping our happy couples make their menu choices. Are you struggling with what to serve? No worries – just ask Karolina!
Q Our wedding breakfast is proving to be a real headache as we can’t agree on what to have. How on earth do we keep everyone happy?
A It’s simple. This is your wedding and your special day, so serve what you want to eat! We have set menus here at the hotel, but it is possible to adapt them if you want to have something specific. But remember you don’t have to serve a traditional meal – we’ve helped couples create buffets offer a little bit of everything, and afternoon teas with mini sandwiches and cakes.

User

From chocolate fountains to sweetie carts to photo booths – we’ve been in the business so long that we’ve seen just about every wedding reception trend there is. But out of all of them, we absolutely love the current lighting trend. What do you think about this from one of our recent weddings?

Whether you want to toast your marriage with some fizz, raise a glass to good health with wine, or say cheers to becoming a Mr and Mrs with a spirit, we can create bespoke drinks packages for your wedding breakfast.

User

A staggering 56% of brides now make their own wedding bespoke stationery. If this sounds too much like hard work, remember that we can lighten some of the load by taking care of the table name cards.

A problem shared is a problem halved – so why not ask Karolina? Our wonderful wedding planner always gives the best advice.
Q We don’t want to have children at out wedding, but do we need to say this on our invites?
A You should address the invitation to the people who are invited – if the children’s names do not appear, it should be clear they are not invited. However, it may be worth bending the rules if childcare is an issue for your guests. We can offer special children’s menus with our wedding breakfasts and I can suggest lots of children’s entertainers and activities to keep them occupied!

User

Don’t want to number your tables for your wedding breakfast? The get creative and give them names instead. We love this idea one of our brides had – naming her tables after flowers.

User

It’s Friday the 13th! Lots of couples deliberately avoid getting married on this date to avoid bad luck, but 13 is actually considered lucky in some cultures. However, if you really are superstitious we won’t hold it against you – our wedding packages are priced the same regardless of the day of the week or the time of year!

A wedding is a time for celebration! You and your guests will love our new-look bar which was recently refurbished. There’s no better place than to toast the happy couple.

User

Would just like to say a massive thank you to Jury’s inn for our party we had a fantastic night .... staff were so helpful while we set up they sorted everything for us ..... nothing was a problem for the party my only negatives was I asked for crisps on the 8 tables we had & had a costly bill of £70 the next day pretty steep for a few bags of crisps on the tables .... also went for breakfast in morning at 10:15 & it was closed up few of my party guests were disappointed also

With my previous company I was virtually a resident here for 2 years and ended up on first name terms with nearly all of the staff. I met my wife in Aberdeen and we held our wedding reception here. Now we come back for tribute nights.

Excellent service, good food and always great service. Lesley has been serving for over 30 years, Mike always has time for a chat and a joke, and Anne is Miss Fix It who works tirelessly to ensure events run faultlessly. Great hotel and event venue.

User

We have been here for our daughters wedding, which took place in the hotel. The staff are first class, so helpful. The wedding could not have been better, fantastic atmosphere, food was superb. Cannot thank you all enough for making this a really memorable occasion.

User

We had a beautiful wedding and reception last Saturday, cannot praise the staff highly enough. From planning to delivery, absolutely fantastic.... highly recommended.

We booked Jury's Inn for our wedding 2/3 years in advance. From start to finish they were amazing! Hannah put up with my hundreds of emails and was always willing to help. When she went on maternity leave we were handed over to Karolina who was every bit as helpful. Come the big day we were looked after by Anne. She was brilliant and made the day go smoothly without a single glitch Every member of staff we dealt with (wish I hadn't forgotten their names) were genuinely happy, friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure me and my husband had the best day. And we absolutely did have THE best day. Thank you so much, we will never forget our amazing day and how much you helped us achieve the wedding of our dreams. Mr & Mrs Esson hehe!

Many thanks (Shona/Hana) for hosting the Persian New Year Norooz 1396 Party and the overnight guests, the party was a great success and thanks to your management team and staff for catering for us from start to finish and making it a great occasion for all.

I could not really fault anyone, all Jury's Inn staff were very helpful and professional and accommodated all of our requests on the night, we really appreciate it!

I look forward to hosting our event with you guys once again next year!

User

I love this Hotel. My Colleagues stay here when they are up from London and I pop in to see them. The staff are fantastic snd look after you when you are there. My colleague was ill all week and the Hotel checked on her every day. This is what it is all about. Thanks Jurys Inn we also had our Christmas Party there on saturday and it was a great night. Good food, band was excellent and it was all good fun. Only negative would be thr price of drinks but understand its a hotel and an event. Will be back next year. Xx

User

User

Enjoyed an overnight stay here with my family. Helpful and courteous staff. Nice room, excellent free WiFi and a delicious breakfast. Great value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future

User

Didn't want to leave the hotel the place is amazing really nice staff

User

Clean modern hotel, friendly, helpful staff, nice rooms - good service and a great location for the Aberdeen Airport.

User

Reception staff were welcoming, the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable.

The complimentary coffee and milk was cheap and in short supply. The breakfast was standard surgery type so overcooked, tasteless and dry. The coffee was cheap too.

The conference facilities were good. The coffee was plentiful and better quality and lunch was good.

User

Reception staff helpful and friendly, nice big clean room with a large bed. Bathroom was spotless which is always a plus. Ate in the bar-great friendly staff and the food was excellent as was the beer. Would happily stay again. Location fantastic for my needs too

User

Only there at a conference but plenty of tea n coffee available all day... lunch choices not sure if this was what the company ordered but ok as long as not a fussy eater. There were lots of complaints about the food but me personally I thought it was ok. Would have liked not just hot drinks but some juices as well. This may have been what was ordered by the company though. Nice venue would happily go back.

User

Only stayed one night but it was very comfortable, room was lovely and everything spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were VERY friendly and helpful and overall were more than happy. One small negative was that we popped into the bar for a coffee on Saturday afternoon and was a little put off by the seemingly unfriendly man serving behind the bar actually made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.i would not let this small incident deter us from booking again as everything else more than made up for this one small incident.

User

Reception stand shuffling paper ignoring you when you walk in, seems like you are disturbing them. Rooms are roasting hot in summer no AC, portable heater for winter. This student bar order and say table number at the bar business is just a pain, a hotel should ha e table service. Food is very highly priced and of awful quality. The menu looks great but what comes out isn’t fit for dogs. Stayed here a few times on company account, wouldn’t be my choice. Head for the new Crowne Plaza round the corner.

User

My husband and I booked in for new years eve for one night unfortunately we didn't book for the new years eve party but we didn't mind we thought that we'll have a few drinks and see the new year in but as we were having a drink at 10 45 pm we were asked by the bar staff if we would like another drink as the bar was about to close we said yes but after we received it had second thoughts as we hadn't booked the new years Eve party we couldn't go through there so we left our drinks on the bar and packed our bag and left to go home our new years Eve spoiled we were told by the receptionist when we checked in that the bar was open until 12 pm clearly this was not the case obviously as we had not paid for the new years eve party we were not important won't be booking this year
