Kingsman Eco Farm Description
We will be growing vegetables and fruit using aquaponics where the nutrients will be provided by fish. The fish we are looking to use are fresh water trout and their waste provides nutrients to our plants. The plants and bacteria in turn clean the water and recycle this back to the fish. This is a very efficient way to farm as it reduces exposure to soil born issues and uses very little water for the fish and plants.

With our 1st growing season over, we’re already planning next years crops.
Given the success of our cherry tomatoes we’ll be investing in another 3 commercial poly tunnels as well as cleaning our first.

Thankfully after the brief spell of Snow and Ice the poly tunnel is still standing. Now we’re looking forward to the new year to start our first crops. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year when it comes. :-)
I've so invigorated after a fabulous event put on by Opportunity North East. Here's to working with a number of fabulous people I met there.
This is a very similar idea to what we’ll be doing next year at the farm. Interesting perspective on migrant workers and how much the farming community relies on them.

I can't believe FB. I emailed them our company articles of association, Trade Mark and they still will not verify our company. I'm not sure where this is going, however I might have to get our solicitors involved.
This is the first tomato and although I've been told by a friend who is down south and have had better weather than we have had up here I think the proof in the hydroponics / lighting technology will be if this little tomato ripens and tastes great. I'll keep you all posted.

Interestingly I had an email from FB asking me to verify my account with them. I asked them to call me and then they told me to type in a code (which I did) then they said they could not verify me!!! Incredulous. So I've sent them our Trade Mark along with our companies house registration documents. If that doesn't convince them then I'm not sure what will!
