Proud to announce that Leanne Strachan Childminding is a drop off point for AberNecessities. AberNecessities is a charity who's aim is to support local, underprivileged families in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire by providing essential items they need to care for their babies and children. They accept donations of nappies, wipes, children's toiletries, nearly new clothes, toys and equipment. As long as you would be happy to use the clothes/items on your child in their donated condition then they will accept. Please pop me a PM if you would like to arrange to drop anything off. I will be doing runs to dyce with donations most weekends.

New resources coming soon to improve coordination, fine motor skills, shape recognition, mathematics logic, colour recognition and imagination. Older children have been discussing enjoying watching falling dominoes videos so we can soon make our own dominoes tracks and watch them fall.

Some new activities arrived today! A great way to help the children practise skills.

Cant believe the holidays are nearly over! They really have flown by. We have had a lovely week visiting Fyvie Castle, Haddo House and Macduff Aquarium. 😊

**FREE CHILDCARE ** Smear test screenings are at an all time low, for whatever reason women are choosing not to go. Yes it’s not pleasant, it’s uncomfortable, undignified but hey, so is cancer and all it’s symptoms. So, with that in mind, I am offering to provide FREE childcare for a one off session of 1 hour so that all you mums out there can go and get it done. Please PM for further information. Get your smears booked, a child needs their Mummy.

I may not post on here very often but I can assure you that behind the scenes we are having loads of fun! Making the most of any sunshine we are lucky enough to get, going on trips, baking, reading, playing, messy play, toddler groups, socialising.. the list goes on! Growing and learning in a home from home settling. 🏡

Lots of fun being had today with the rice crispies! A hit with all the kiddies so far. Great for mixing, pouring, burying, crunching, and totally safe for the babies who like to sneak a taste. 😋

Lovely midterm day out today! We went to Barnardos to pick some new stories, went to a park and watched the cows being milked at Forest Farm. We even filled up some milk bottles to take home! 😊
