The team have worked their socks off, it'll look great once all of the improvements take shape!

User

The staff was brilliant and made the lesson so much fun. Rather than take the kids off and have 30 mins to themself they stayed on the ice and let everyone stay on and have fun x x

User

Thank you for having a relaxed ice skating session today. We really enjoyed it. Only for this relaxed session today, my son who has autism, would not have the opportunity to experience ice skating. It's such a pity this fabulous resource is not available for a relaxed ice skating session during term time out of school hours.

User

Spend alot of time here staff are helpful and coaches are great with kids.

Physical appearance could be done with modernisation but everything in workinh order.

User

Love ice skating οΏ½ would highly recommend

User

Just finished skate camp for our 4 and 5 year old. They've never been on the ice before and have just completed grade 1. They absolutely loved it and we'll be booking another block of lessons as soon as they become available. All the coaches are friendly, brilliant and extremely passionate about ice skating which comes across very well to the children. It certainly helped my 2 become excited about coming back every day. Huge thanks to Daniel for his patience and brilliant tutoring. They can't wait for grade 2!

User

All in total good. As there is no much options to be honest. Skates are soooooo baaaaad. Poor quality etc, but I guess you get what you pay for. Dont like skates- take your owns :)

User

I attended the learn to skate for adults.everyone was lovely, really encouraging and supportive. I was terrified and couldn't do it but the experience was very positive and I'd recommend it to anyone.

User

Great venue for hockey. Well managed, friendly staff and fans. Great experience!

User

Great hockey atmosphere. Home fans were friendly and I had good conversations with them. Only downside was the fact that seats booked for away fans were double booked but the situation was resolved before the game faced off. Has always been one of my favourite hockey rinks.

User

Cracking ice rink for the Junior leagues to play and train in.

User

As we had 3 kids that couldn't skate ( and a few adults) thought it was a bit much they charge )3.30 per half hour for support penguin s! Just thought that was pricey. Other than that great time had by all.

User

Skates could be doing with an upgrade for the price you pay, as skates were all burst, ripped and blades very blunt, apart from that good atmosphere and fun with the kids,, if skates were in better condition I would give 5 ⭐️

User

Had a good time and I would have given a higher rating, however the skates are in dire need of upgrading. The 3 of us all had ill fitting skates that have certainly seen better days.

User

Absolutely love ice skating but they have now started charging to hire the penguins. Β£3.30 for 30 mins. RIDICULOUS!! Put me clean off going back. Just a money making scheme. What little kids r going to manage without 1 οΏ½

User

Took my 5-year old daughter skating over the holidays and place was near deserted. Despite that, we both still got the worst boots ever with knots in the laces of mine meaning I couldn't tie them properly and had to exchange for another, equally shabby, pair. Noticed our "penguin" has "kill me" engraved in to its face. Had a fall on the ice catching my little girl and gave myself quite a knock. Absolutely no staff on the rink to assist. Disappointing.

User

Facilities basic and ice pad too small for adult ice hockey and the leagues most irritating announcer when you can work out what he is saying

User

We was on Thursday evening with hope that I can start learning my 3 old son(first time) and my 7years doughter(second time).

But I can't say it was a pleasure for me and my family, why? Two young guys who supposed to look after other I mean staff, didn't respond even once when few other guys was skating very dangerously around others, small kids as well, jumping etc and the most they was soooo fast. Even they bomp to one girl she fell down and bump her head! Did they did anything, nope!!!

Many times they was cutting our way, my doughter fell twice, they was extremely fast, someone should do something or make different time for them or something!

User

Thanks to the incompetent staff at Linx on December 24th my son and I quote "never wants to go ice skating again"

Before setting foot on the ice we had to witness an horrific accident which involved a 6year old boy, I had to force my way into their first aid room call an ambulance after finding out 10mins later they couldn't even do that properly! The staff all apart from one made a gormless appearance after a 25min search and didn't do a god dam thing! (Literally came over then walked away) It was a traumatic experience for all involved not to mention my 4 year old son, who had a great talent & passion for ice skating which will now go to waste, he's refusing to go back and has had multiple nightmare since.

Hopefully next time linx staff will know their arse from their elbow. I strongly suggest some first aid training and that supervisors/stewards should be on site at all times especially during busy holidays!

The young boy was a trooper and I wish him a healthy recovery and his family a Merry Christmas! (don't forget his vanilla ice cream)

Oh and when we arrived my partner and I counted 6 members of staff at 10am so where 5 disappeared to during this ordeal I have no idea!!!!???
