Beautiful Autumn day here in Kemnay. Why not come and try our Harvest vegetable soup made with vegetables donated by St Annes from their harvest festival service. We also have roast beef and mustard mayo sandwiches and a selection of fine bakes 😃

User

Unfortunately we are having to close on Friday due to staff shortages. We rely on volunteers to staff the cafe and have a number of vacancies as well as holidays to cover. We will be open as normal next week (hopefully ). If you are looking to fill a few hours to get out the house and meet people, to gain some confidence or to give back to the community, please be in touch. You can either call the centre on 643883 or email us at loavesandfushes@kemnayparish.church.

User

Starting to look very Autumnal outside. We have Cullen Skink and a sweet chilli chicken wrap to tempt you at lunchtime or, for a real treat, St Clements cake and mars bar slice are our feature bakes.

User

This pumpkin has been donated to loaves and fishes so we just had to make soup! Pumpkin and Apple soup and a sweet chilli chicken wrap are todays special lunch. Treat yourself afterwards with our rocky road or apple crumble cake😁

User

Specials at loaves and fishes today. Come and shelter from the rain. 😊

User

What a diffetence a day makes! Sunny and bright after yesterday's rain. Come and enjoy the view. We have carrot and coriander soup and cheese and spring onion special sandwich filling for lunch. 😊

User

It's a bit wet and cold outside today, but there's always a warm welcome here at loaves and fishes. Ginger and plum cake and cheese scones today. Lunchtime soup is coriander and corrot, with cheese and spring onion sandwich filling. 😊

User

It's a beautiful but slightly chilly morning and Liz is hard at work in the kitchen preparing Tattie soup. Just what we need on a day like this! Our special sandwich is smoked salmon and soft cheese. Why not come up and treat yourself 😊

User

Welcome to our newest staff member Kylie😊 We have freshly baked scones and the special cake is lemon layer cake.

User

It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means its Cullen Skink day 😊 Come and join us for a bowl of soup or a delicious lemon chicken sandwich followed by a pancake or homebake.

User

Suzanne is continuing her training by making the lemon chicken filling for the sandwiches today. Our soup is big sweetcorn and bacon and our feature cake is the fantastic smiddy dumpling!

User

Loaves and Fishes can be found in so many places, we have pictures and stained glass in the cafe and even the moderator of the church of Scotland wears loaves and fishes in the chain for her official cross. Come and explore what Loaves and Fishes; whether it is a bowl of soup and a fine piece or company and conversation let us know what it means to you.

User

Went to Loaves and fishes for coffee with friends from England today. They were impressed with the whole setup there. We particularly liked the welcome we received from the young girl who served us - did not get her name but well done from us. She was efficient, very pleasant and welcoming - we will be back for sure. Really enjoyed the Bennachie view as we enjoyed our milky coffee and tea ;-)
