What an impressive lady! Jenny was treated to an ice cream and crepe in the Parlour to celebrate her 97th birthday with her daughter Doreen and grand-daughter Nikki who both work at the farm. Jenny remembers the days that our current Managing Director Mac (real name Maitland)'s Great Grandfather Maitland would pass sweets to her and her young siblings under the church pew on a Sunday!

We visited on yesterday and LOVED it!! My daughter is gluten free but managed to really enjoy her Sundae. Wondered if you’d ever consider doing gluten free waffles and crepes..? She returned again today with one of her friends and they raves about it again! �

Visited for the first time today, lovely place very clean and bright! Ice cream was delicious and good value for money too!! The top scoop of ice cream fell off my daughters cone and a member of staff came right over and rescued the situation by bringing her a new scoop in a tub with a spoon, excellent service I’d say! We will definitely be back 100%.

Visited a couple of time and have sat in and taken away. Ice cream was going to be good given the trusted Mackies brand. Sundaes are big and justify their price. The waffles are pretty impressive too. Teas, coffees and hot chocolate all good too. Nice, central location in Marschall Square.

Thanks to Fiona @Mackies19.2 who organised ice cream to be served at the official opening of our housing development by Scotland's Housing Minister yesterday. Our guests were impressed with the selection and taste and it went down well in the sunny weather! Sandra @ GrampianHA

Perfect ice-cream and cakes, diverse menu, friendly helpful service, nice atmosphere, but... I cut my finger with a lid of your box of ice-cream when I tried to open it at home. That has broken my enjoyable impression ;(

Our 1st visit Mackies 19.2 yesterday, we popped in for a treat. Only in Aberdeen can you get buttery & jam ice cream, hubby loved it! We had three single scoop cone with toppings, a caber coffee which was lovely and a packet of honeycomb with chocolate. Totally shocked but we got change from £10



Kids were also excited to get there first glimpse of Aberdeen's leopard in Marshall Square. We will definitely return soon and looking forwards to trying out the waffle lollies and milkshakes x

Lovely ice cream parlour with a huge selection of ice creams and other items to choose from, very clean, super friendly staff and not over priced at all, we'll definitely be back!

Lovely and cool on a hot day - and the staff looked after our dog too and gave her a fresh bowl of water to help her cool down too.

In this morning for the 3rd time with my boyfriend to celebrate Pancake Day! Only ones in this morning and treated like royalty � Lovely treat and the staff were amazing as always! �

I have only ever seen the original vanilla Mackies ice cream in England so having a massive choice of great flavours was excellent. I went for the Rhubarb & Custard flavour being a child of the 1970s and it was delicious.

Great new shop in the city centre. Went there today with the family and the staff were smiling and friendly, will definetely be back.

First visit for me and my daughter. Food very good, had a panini which we shared. then a sundae. Wow, it was amazing, we shared as one is more than enough for 2 people. Service was fast and friendly, the only difficulty was deciding which ice cream to have as the choice is wonderful. Definately going bank and would highly recommend to go. Also loved the music they had playing, some great feel good tunes. It’s the ice cream shops answer to Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, if you’ve not been, go it’s well worth a visit 🤗🍦❤️

Came in today for the first time. The service was fantastic and the ice cream was really tasty. Very clean and served quickly. The tea wasn't to my taste but the staff very quickly replaced it with no problems at all! We will definitely be back to try all the tasty looking things on the menu. ���

Been to the parlour a few times over the past couple of months and have never been disappointed! The crepes with chocolate from the tap are amazing! And of course the ice cream is just the best! The staff are all brilliant and so friendly, it's a lovely atmosphere at any time of day. Highly recommend!

It's ok! We went for lunch on Monday and it's a nice place and the location is great but we found it a bit underwhelming. The sandwiches were expensive. We both chose paninis at £4.60 each which I thought was a reasonable price but that's how they came.....literally just a panini. No side salad or garnish of any kind.....not even a handful of mackies crisps! I know its not asandwich shop but if they are choosing to sell sandwiches, either make them a £1 cheaper or add a little something to the plate! service was so so, I stood at the desk for a good 3 or 4 mins before anyone took me on. It wasn't that busy either, a monday afternoon so not overly busy. On the plus side, the toilets were clean and and spacious and the waffles looked nice although we didn't have one. Let's just say we won't be rushing back. X

Been to mackies twice now all in the same week what can I say best ice cream ever back again tomorrow and the staff are nice and friendly too immaculate premises

Really disappointing, £4.25 for the ice cream milkshake - no perceived value at all - small size and not even thick for an ice cream milkshake. Good music though!

Total disappointment it’s like they took the sugar out of the waffle and ice cream I felt like I was eating savoury food well weird
