We’ve had an amazing, relaxing time together away from the norm.

We were treated like royalty from all the staff.

The food was devine. Hubby is still drooling over his dinner last night and so am I. The dauphinois potatoes were to die for. Would quite happily have them for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

The room was stunning, clean & tidy.

The view from the room was gorgeous.

The whole place had a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Thank you all again.

User

We traveled all the way from Idaho, USA and we are so thankful for such wonderful service.

We had some issues with the first room we checked into because it was extraordinarily hot from a previous guest blasting the heat. The windows wouldn’t open to cool it so they patiently gave us a different room.

Beautiful hotel and services!

User

The dinner was fantastic and tasty. Mine , pork belly , because I do not eat huggis, the staff found me an alternative, potatoes in a special way ...My daughter chicken was soft and juicy in extra batter. Service nice and smiling ... clean room, one of the more comfortable beds in which I slept in my life. Great place ... Breakfast, hot and delicious... exellent service 😍

User

Our one night stay was a birthday present for my wife. From arrival to departure nothing was too much trouble. The massage and spa were fantastic and set the bar rather high. The food was gorgeous with a great wine list to accompany it. We had a late checkout arranged, so took advantage of the spa facilities again and left the hotel far more relaxed and refreshed than when we arrived. Will definitely visit again, maybe even with the children!

User

Just come back from a 2 night DBB break. We got a bargain price so I’m likely to be biased but Ardoe House can’t be faulted in any way.

Our room was spot on, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Nice view over the gardens towards the river.

Food in the restaurant was excellent particularly the desserts.

All the staff are friendly and helpful.

We did use the pool/sauna and this is also very good.

I would definitely recommend Ardoe House.

User

I have stayed here on various occasions and can't wait for the next one...first class service, rooms are very comphy and the leisure facilities are 1st class.

They have some great deals to stay especially at the weekends...lovely relaxing and calming experience ..

User

Had an amazing night away. Room was lovely but would suggest hotel thinks about supplying face cloths in bathrooms. The food was scrumptious and staff very attentive. Will definitely return. Would advise to have a DBB deal as food on high side.

User

Had a lovely night away in ardoe house the room was fab and staff were excellent. The dinner was excellent even tho the hotel was very busy and there was a function on. The staff were very stretched but they were lovely and attentive. I really enjoyed my dinner bed and breakfast and will definately return soon. Thank you all once again.

User

Had a fab night a Ardoe to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed on The Devenick suit and could not fault a single thing. Our dinner was delicious and again no complaints on the food or the service. All the staff were courteous and very professional. Can’t wait to go back again

User

Comfortable rooms, fantastic comfortable, huge bed, bottle of wine on arrival, espresso coffee machine, clean, modern bathroom. Service could have been a little quicker. Wide selection of food for breakfast, breakfast was plentiful and despite the many guests the hotel staff remained on top adding more cooked food, fruit etc. Large pool in the spa area. Is quiet and the River Dee runs alongside, certainly a nice walk in the evening.

User

Beautiful, a treat to experience, I'm here to relax, unwind, enjoy the classic Scottish ambiance, if u want fast, cheap food.... go to McDonald's....

Food was great, service excellent and rooms were astonishing.....

Great staff by the way....

10 stars from the Canadians

User

Had a lovely time at the Ardoe. The room was lovely no complaints except couldn’t find a bottle opener so couldn’t open our complimentary bottles in the mini bar. The food was lovely only 1 complaint we were sat beside the door and it was sticking every time. I lost count how many times people were trying to get in and out. Think you need to have this looked at as when sat right beside it becomes rather annoying when you are trying to enjoy your meal. I was glad we were not sat there for breakfast. Other than that had a grat time and would definitely to it again.

User

This hotel was quite busy ! As we temporarily parked the car , to check in and drop our luggages, a staff came to tell us we can’t park there , just seconds after getting out of the vehicle. No greetings nothing. Just plain arrogance and aggressiveness!! I asked him if he could help us with our baggage but “ no I’m running an event “ and he was wearing the staff uniform. I just gave him my piece of mind.

The first night we arrived (Saturday )the music thankfully only lasted til 2200 hrs. Then Sunday , it lasted til mid night!

So no I don’t think we will come back!

User

I attended the Strictly Come Prancing in the Ballroom last night and quite frankly the service was shocking! The main course was served and although my dinner was piping hot 1/2 the tables dinner was cold. As events were running late and everyone was starving they just ate the tepid food anyway. By the time it came to tea / coffee the first pot of tea was only Luke warm and required no milk. We were on table 7 and there were 12 people but yet when the tablet came out there were only 10 pieces. I asked for some more and this was delivered about ten minutes later but surely the cups, saucers etc all had to be counted so surely enough tablet could be delivered the first time around. The bar service was shocking for the amount of people in attendance. At one point only 3 ladies toilets had any toilet roll. I have been here many times before at other events with much better service.

User

We attended the fight Night in the function suite last night. The bar service was shocking. It took me 25 minutes to get served on arrival at 5.30pm and it didn’t get any better all night. You new the numbers to be catered for?

The bar staff were very inexperienced for the numbers being catered for. I won’t go into the quality of the drinks served but it’s more like I would have expected at a festival than a hotel. To make things worse the queue for bar staff at the single till was also lengthy. You must try harder, I hope they don’t use this venue again unless you get the standard of service sorted out!

User

Walked out without being fed! Pre booked afternoon tea for two for today (a Monday afternoon) arrived and informed them of our booking to be sat in the drawing room. Prompt service by the waitress asking for our tea or coffee order, however we’d informed we didn’t need sugar which meant we also got no milk to have with our drinks? Then followed a 30 minute wait, by which point both our tea and coffee were cold and there was still no sign of our food. We’d only asked for sandwiches and cakes and phoned a day ahead to warn them! Will not be returning, such a let down. Was asked for our email addresses when we announced we couldn’t wait any longer, but wasn’t interested as by that point we had been left with an hour before an appointment to find somewhere and eat our lunch. Really disappointed

User

The event for UWCB on Saturday 17th March was an absolute disgrace. Spending £35pp to sit squashed round a tiny table, without the table service we were promised and being forced to queue for over 45 minutes to get a drink was not the experience I was expecting at your 4* hotel. By 7pm the ladies toilets had run out of toilet roll in all but 1 stall, the hand soaps were empty and at one point there was a toilet seat on the floor for at least 2 hours. To have a dress code and charge what you do for drinks, you should be embarrassed by the service provided! Though it has to be said that the bar staff (4 bar staff for an event with over 400 attendees?!) did the best they could under the circumstances.

User

If you're young, modern and like a clean hotel, this is not for you. Dirty stained room and the hotel itself is needing an overhaul. I lasted half an hour and checked out. I have honestly stayed in far better premier inns.

User

I attended the UWCB event on the 17th of March & I was very disappointed with the service offered by the hotel. We had paid for seated tickets which were supposed have table service, there was none. We had to queue for 45 minutes to get service at a bar with only 4 members of staff serving , who I must say did an excellent job under the extreme pressure that they had been put under by the management, by not having enough staff on duty. I would not recommend using this venue again for this type of event!

We had to queue for 45 minutes to get service at a bar with only 4 members of staff serving , who I must say did an excellent job under the extreme pressure that they had been put under by the management, by not having enough staff on duty. I would not recommend using this venue again for this type of event!
