****UPDATE 2**** The owner of the building has completed the repairs on the roof and our systems have been checked and working safely
Therefore I am happy to say we will be open for business as normal tomorrow (Sunday)

****UPDATE***** The restaurant will not be open tonight. We are calling everyone with reservations as we speak. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Due to the extreme weather overnight, a significant amount of water has reached our electrical supply. After a thorough investigation this morning, we have been advised that it would be unsafe to open the business.
Unfortunately this means we will be closed for lunch today whilst the experts try to resolve the issue. There is a strong possibility we will be unable open this evening as well. All guests with bookings will be contacted via telephone.
My sincerest apologies to anyone who has been effected by this. It is not a decision we have taken lightly however the safety of our guests and team is, and always will be paramount.

Our 30 day aged Picanha Rump is the star of our fixed price lunch menu. Served with our signature onion loaf and balsamic glazed tomato.

Our Scallops come on a bed of Champagne Thermidor sauce and parmentier potatoes and garnished with tempura samphire and fresh tomato salsa.

Yesterday we enjoyed a fabulous Graduation Meal. We had a fabulous day & our meal at Miller & Carter was the perfect compliment to our day - a truly lovely meal :) The welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable & attentive service from the staff, & in particular Greg, was exceptional. We were made to feel most welcome, unrushed & valued - & Greg even took a couple of pictures for us. The various starters were perfect (mushrooms, scallop & prawns) & our Main courses, all rib eye steaks, were some of the best we've ever had - & great sauces, fries & onion dish . The deserts were just as good, chocolate brownies proving the no 1. Great wines too :), the four of us all had a large glass of something different. All in all a fabulous meal in relaxed and welcoming surroundings, perfect for our celebration. Would highly recommend it, & we will be back ....

Our first visit at Miller and Carter tonight was a pleasure. From the ease of booking online to receiving a reminder text. Upon being seated our server for the night was Maciek. He took our drink order and was back in 5 minutes to take our order. Maciek was a great help guiding us thru the menu without being overbearing. We both chose the Calamari. Great first choice for us both. Hubbie opted for the 12oz Ribeye - cooked to perfection with all sides as per order. An extra side of lobster and prawn. Yumm. I opted for the chicken experience wow it was definitely that. Moist tender boneless half chicken with gray to die for cheese and sweetcorn patty and perfectly cooked poached egg. Fries i could not eat as i was too full. Maciek did warn me it was a big portion. Boy was he right. Desert was Chocolate hazelnut bombe. Beautifully presented while i was so full i opted for coffee and mini desert. Couldn’t ask for a better server tonight Maciek your a �. Thanks for all your help. A credit to Miller and Carter. Cant wait for our next visit. Keep up the good work to all that work there.

Myself and my wife visited Miller and Carter for the first time last night, and we were both really impressed by both the service and food, we’ll definitely be back. The food was really very good and the choice was so good that it took us a wee while to decide. After deciding we had starters of Scallops and barbacoa beef (which was sensational) and for Main we had fillet steak and ribeye steak with sides or lobster mac and cheese and lobster/prawn tempura - every single bit of it was delicious- if a bit too much for us! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lettuce wedge we got just before our steaks were served - that was just a bit odd!



The service was on par with the food, our server Dan was great, he explained the menu to us, was really friendly and funny, and gave us lots of recommendations for our next visit. He was chatty but not imposing and really added to making it a great night. He sounded like he was enjoying serving all of his customers and gave everyone the same attention, which is great.



Overall you won’t be disappointed if you visit Miller and Carter, we already can’t wait to go back!

Finally managed to get there last night with a booking at 8.15. Got seated straight away and waited by the wonderful Egle who went through the menu In detail and very knowledgeable.Only issue was what to chose as everything looked great. Both starters came within ten minutes and full of flavour . Opted for the chattabriand to share for the main and was cooked to perfection and seriously tasty the sides/sauces were a great accompaniment but probably not needed as the flavour of the steak stood out on its own. Will definitely be back!!
