Want to thank two memebers of the mothercare staff today! They were so good when my daughter was sick in the store this afternoon. She has tonsillitis and started antibiotics today. She said she was feeling better so we went to get her new shoes as she was desperate for them. And unfortunately the antibiotics made her sick. They were really understanding and made me feel at ease! Great customer service! Thank you again ��

I was in store today as my second visit on looking at car seats. First visit I was told they had nothing suitable for my car(BMW X6) so I came home done my homework and found out maxi cost and Britax had seats that would fit. My head rests wouldn’t go up so that was the problem. Kayleigh took her time in store to look up my car and seats which would be suitable and tried it in my car and fitted perfectly. I was so happy as someone was listening to me and tried it too.

I had an issue with a broken stroller, 6 days before we were due to leave for our family holiday - I'd chosen this stroller specifically because it had the full hood to provide maximum coverage for my infant - so I was feeling pretty stressed when I attended the store to ask advice. The team have been so fantastic, they made a stressful situation seem like no big deal. I was able to easily return and exchange the broken stroller and was given a loan stroller for the time being. Shannon and Martin have really been so helpful, thank you!! And as a plus the replacement stroller arrived in store today so we were able to collect it en-route to our holiday. Very happy!

Had a great experiance in Mothercare today. Was trying to find my daughter a rear facing carseat on a £150 budget (shes still under the FF weight limit) Had already been to 2 shops and looked all over the internet with no joy. Had alot of help from 2 young female employees who spent alot of time finding one that fit and was in my price. Had two toddlers with me which they dealt with well and spent an hour finding the right one and making extra sure it fit. Left feeling happy and with an extra safely secure child. :)

Great customer service at Mothercare Aberdeen this afternoon when I had to return a faulty car seat.

Would like to thank Erin who had the patience of a saint today. She helped us pick out our car seat and gave us honest and relevant information on each to help us come to a decision. We were nightmare customers and I made her have to do her job three times over because I was determined to get a saving. She did it all without complaint. Sadly neither item in stock despite being "most popular" so was a little disappointed.

Fantastic customer care ! No matter what you go in for you're always met with friendly , helpful staff . Have had a few issues regarding my daughters buggy but staff have always gone out of their way to help us .

Standard retail outlet with vulture-like people swooping to persuade you to get your little one photographed. Wanting to browse and looking to enjoy selecting my purchases, I was asked if we'd like a photo session 5 times by the team. I think I just growled at them in the end.

I feel a little bad typing this as I’ve had SO many good experiences in your store - but yesterday I discovered that none of your toilets / change or feed rooms were accessible with our Bugaboo Donkey 2 - a little ironic given we bought it from you guys (and had EXCELLENT service). I ended up having to take all my precious cargo out of the pram and into the feed room with me and left the pram outside. Thankfully the store wasn’t busy so the pram being left in a corridor wasn’t a nuisance to other shoppers.



I expected to be able to fit in the disabled toilet / change room however the at you have everything placed - nope! I moved the nappy bin - got in but couldn’t move to get anything done.

Yesterday evening I made the 80 mile round trip to purchase a car seat and get it fitted. I got the proof of fitting, the car seat and base and went on my way. Today when I was getting ready to go out I discover that in fact that car seat DOES NOT fit in my car properly and my 14mo look ridiculous and was near bent forward.

My husband made the 80 mile round trip again and was told, no the car seat does not fit in the car. Would you accept the receipt and the car seat for an refund? NO. You needed proof of fitting. Which, I hold my hands up, I took out of the car.

Surely you could have taken it back without this? When I have to make the 80mile trip to return the seat with proof of fitting, I can assure you I am not going to be happy.

With the recent documentaries about stores providing incorrect car seat advice and fitting, I'd have assumed you'd have fully trained staff to ensure you were giving out seats FIT FOR PURPOSE.

I will be taking this matter further and I will be reporting this to watchdog.

Wow....I spent hours and hours here on Sunday trying to find a car seat to fit my car. Every one that was tried 'didnt fit'. They also wanted written confirmation that the base storage was filled even though they didn't know what was filled or not. Anyway just home from Halfords with the seat fitted and low and behold it's the same seat that didn't fit on Sunday! Staff need some serious training in this store. Useless. I will not be returning nor recommending them to anyone!

Was in your store today and what an awful experience was buying the tutti bambini next to me cot could not find a member of staff anywhere my partner looked round twice for a member of staff finally found one she wasn’t that helpful then we went to pay 1 member of staff on the tills for a que of about 10 people finally got served to be met with someone who didn’t know anything about your vouchers etc your store needs more staff and more training!!

Very very very much disappointed

Today I went for my daughter's highchair and the staff was so rude not helpful much even including duty manager..

I always had a good thoughts for mothercare but todays experience just putme off and I bought the high chair from tesco..

Terrible customer care. Got ignored for so long and ended up having to find someone even though we were the only customers in the shop. It was 6.30 at night. We were told they were short staffed even though there was 5 people on the floor. They fitted our car seat in record time and told us it didn't fit. We ended up going to Mothercare in Inverness and they fitted the same car seat which fitted with no issues at all. We got majorly fobbed off in the Aberdeen store and we felt like they didn't want our custom. Won't step foot back in this store.

Phoned up the store to check if they had a car seat in stock was told yes. Went to the store waited for someone to come and help us for 15/20mins no one came went to the till explained we had had the seat tested in halfords they had no stock so we just wanted to buy the seat was told to go and wait at the back after another 15/20 min wait no one came so got a member of staff at the bottles she said she would go get it. She then proceeded to come back and tell us it wasn't in stock and that we would have to order it in. I then said that we had been advised it was in stock she went away and came back and lone behold the seat was in stock! Not a very good service considering the amount we were spending.

Just visited store to order buggy and find out about car seats, 30 minutes later we had to leave as can't get a member of staff to help us. 2 people on the shop floor on a Saturday is not enough.

Complete rip off of a shop will never shop here again. Couldn't be any less helpful to new mothers struggling with all the baby things they have to buy!!!!!!!!
