Sally and I, would like to wish Mark and Ngaire At Mearns Fitness the best of luck for their opening day tomorrow at the Gym!
If any of our old members are unaware, Mearns Fitness will be reopening the former Gym and are having an open day tomorrow where you can have a look around the refurbished Gym building and test out some of the classes they will be offering.
... We would urge all our old members to go and support Mark and Ngaire at the new home of Mearns Fitness!

TONIGHT'S FINALE
So as we close the doors at 8pm we are still running our normal timetable classes, the last 3 studio classes are;
6pm - Circuits - with Lesley... 6.45pm - Insanity - with Lesley & Jack Team teaching 7.15pm - Kettles - with Boss man Gary.
We also have Speedflex sessions at; 3.15pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm & 7.15pm.
Gym open as usual until 8pm.

Well done to those again who volunteered to set up Laurencekirk Christmas lights, they are stunning.
Design and fabrication of the new tree was made and on show last year, is all thanks to Ryan Arthur, Stuart Murray, Neil and Peter Reid and fabricator Calum Rae of Donald Rae & Sons should be applauded for giving up their time and commitment for the benefit of the community along with the help of the Gammie families for the vehicle...s and drivers Sandy Duncan and Andrew Gammie with erection of the lights and tree.
Without their help Laurencekirk would not have the wonderful display they have and surely will be the envy of many other communities.
A coffee morning is held each year to assist with funding of the lights along with various other donations and funding from other sources, as each year a number of the lights need to be refurbished along with testing and insurance all of which needs some source of funding. If any business or member of the community have not donated to the display and would like to do so contact co-ordinator of Laurencekirk Christmas Lights, Helen Reid on 01561 377252

IT'S TODAY!
So from 7am - 7pm we will be running studio gym classes on the hour - every hour!
These classes will either be 30 minute or 45 minutes long, a variety from Legs, Tums & Bums to Insanity.

Fundraising Studio Class-a-thon!
So basically we are running classes on EVERY hour from 7am to 7pm (don't worry we will still be running the 6am Speedflex session!).... Each Class is 30 minutes long - unless stated 45 minutes against class name.
We ask for a donation from all members to go to Mearns Community Transport. For all non members we will donate your class price to Mearns Community Transport.
Raffle tickets will be on sale to, local businesses have donated prizes - we will continue selling raffle tickets until we draw the raffle on Tuesday 29th November.
Please support your local community and come along to as many classes as you can manage! Also sharing is caring ;)

****TONIGHT'S PILATES****
Unfortunately tonight's Pilates class is cancelled as our instructor has the cold and has lost her voice!

Thank you for a great induction to speedflex and a great first class. If you haven't tried speedflex go have a try. It's great workout, place and people.

Such a friendly Gym, always immaculate and the staff and class instructors are all so nice and helpful. The gym facilities are great and I always feel comfortable whilst there. I do wish there was a pool though to cool off in after classes but cant have everything

Newlife Fitness Club was the first gym I ever joined, and set my standards for all gyms very high. Being a student in Edinburgh, I miss the value for money that Newlife Fitness Club offers. You wont find another gym like it as it's very affordable however still it offers everything an expensive city gym offers and more. The gym is always pristine and the range of gym equipment and classes is second to none. It is such a friendly and professional atmosphere to train in!

Love the variety of classes on offer. Newlife staff always make you feel welcome. My daughter loves going to crèche! Place is always immaculate. Great pt sessions

Had induction on Thursday, and first class.. Back today, Love it.. Great staff, great gym and speed flex is awesome.. Come along and try it... never thought I'd be joining the gym at my age!!!

Had a great speed flex induction today, looking forward my first class tomorrow.... I feel like I had a thorough workout in a very short time. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great all rounder gym but also caters for serious bodybuilders. Squat racks, bench press, bicep curls, dumb bells up to 50kg, cable machines, chest, shoulder, leg press machines, pull up bars they have it all here along with all the cardio machines you will ever need!

Good atmosphere in gym, everyone always friendly and open to offering and taking advice. The staff and owners clearly love what they do and it comes across in the gym, as it's always clean and well maintained.

My girlfriend loves the variety of classes that come free with our membership. I only hope they grow and expand, would like to see sauna and steam rooms next!

So lucky to have this place on my doorstep!
