Could you please help a wee girl find her money. She came in to our Mintlaw shop about 8.30/9pm tonight ( Friday 31-8-18). Whilst in the shop or outside the shop she lost £30 ( 1 x£20 note plus 1 x £10 note) . As you can imagine she is absolutely heart broken and we even reopened the shop to see if the money was dropped in the shop. But no luck . Maybe a customer picked up the money, with the intention of returning it? If so could you please get in touch and we wi...ll return it to the owner and reward the finder. There were 2 boys outside the shop who may have information as they tried to get in the shop after it was closed , not once but twice, could they have found the money and were trying to hand it in ? The poor girl is only about 11-13 years old we think, and was absolutely in tears and heartbroken as it was the first time she was trusted to get supper by herself. Can you please help. We will check our CCTV system to see where the money was dropped, and if anyone picked it up. Please reply in confidence if you have any information and we will check out any information you may provide. .
