Hop Rocker is a liquid contradiction. Two become one in this cold fermented, hopped up hybrid. Toast, Citrus and hints of spice on the nose. Followed by a rich biscuit character with notes of gooseberry, lychee and subtle lemon-grass. Sitting on a crisp clean base line - the citrus and peppery notes shine. We went for the Alice in Wonderland and egg hunt event and had a fantastic time. My 3 year old loved getting her face painted and the egg hunt was really well organised. The food was delicious and there staff were lovely. We will definitely be back

We visited yesterday, Friday 6th Jan, we visit quite often and have never had a bad experience, we had 4 drinks each , the bar staff are always friendly and attentive as were the waiting staff, when our meals came,( I had mixed grill, my wife had fish and chips , which was lovely and crispy)both our meals were great as they always are, look forward to our next visit,

We had a really nice pub lunch . Great fast service , friendly staff & nice food . Value for money . Would reccomend .

Huge thank you to the old school house for putting on the Donegal v Dublin GAA match last night for us, even let us select a TV for it to be played wherever we could find a table. Customer service was second to none and we will DEFINITELY be regular customers from now on!!

One of my favorite bars in town always a good atmosphere and bar staff are on top of their job .

Experience wasn't great my friends steak was brought out cold and it was offered to be heated on the grill and not a fresh one! The waitress we had was miserable and didn't crack a smile. She had a face on when she was asked something.

Very disappointed with the service. We were in Aberdeen at the weekend celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary. We sat outside on Sunday afternoon enjoying the sunshine. The barman who served us realised after pouring the drinks that there was children with us and advised that his mistake had been not to advise us that children were not allowed to be in your establishment unless we ordered food. We agreed to order chips for the kids as we had recently already eaten but we were told that this would not be acceptable and we would need to order nine meals.... one meal for each member of our party. The barman accepted that his mistake had been not informing prior to serving us so agreed that we could drink our drinks but if we wished to order any further drinks we must order nine meals. We had just started to drink our drinks when another member of staff appeared and very rudely and un-professionally stated that if we weren't ordering nine meals we must leave. We explained that his colleague had already agreed that we could drink the drinks he had served. This member of staff was not interested and again stated if we were not ordering nine meals we must leave. Obviously we asked for a full refund and left. I can't believe that your staff think it's better business to refund £40 worth of drinks that would need to be disposed of than simply allow us to finish them and leave. Perhaps you should display your company policy clearly outside your establishment to avoid unpleasant embarrasment for your customers. Whilst I think your company policy is somewhat odd I respect that it your policy however my issue is with how your staff chose to deal with the siuation.... rudely and un-professionally.

The barstaff were incredibly rude spent £20 on reserving an area yet on arrrival no area for was reserved. Bar staff thought they were being funny/sarcastic yet just came off as rude and abrupt seriously need to look into etiquette and manners.
