TekTip Do you have more than one thing you need to do at once but don’t feel you have enough screen space? On Windows 10, rather than minimise your windows all the time you can click the Task View icon on the taskbar and create a new desktop to work on. Click the icon again and you can switch between your desktops with open windows on them. One example is when building a website, you can have the HTML editor, CSS editor and FTP client on one desktop then switch to another desktop with open browsers to test your code without having to minimise and open a bunch of windows.

TekTip Do you want to make Windows feel more like yours? Right click the desktop and the click “Personalize”. This will open a new window that has many options for personalising your Windows such as themes, backgrounds and colour schemes.

TekTip Website not displaying properly in Internet Explorer? Try viewing it in compatibility mode. Click the cog at the top right hand corner > Compatibility View settings > type the website domain > Click Add.
