We recently purchased a Range Rover Sport from Land Rover Aberdeen, what an amazing experience!!

Nothing was an issue, my husband had many questions that were answered with huge knowledge by Chris Smollet our sales man. We also changed our minds on various configurations, which Chris took in his stride. Our insurance insisted on upgrading the tracker system to "Cat 5" which could have delayed delivery, however the team fitted it within a 2 day window and we picked up our car on time.

Every time we have walked into RR we have been met with a warm welcome from each and every member of the team from reception to sales to service.

We are returning customers who in the past haven't been entirely happy, however there has obviously been massive effort and training employed which has changed the whole experience in all areas.

We also feel we must give credit to Nicola Kay - customer manager, who listened to issues we had in the past with a RR Khan, dealt with them on our behalf and turned things round to give us an amazing above and beyond after sales service.

Visited this dealership with my daughter, trying to diagnose fault on her Freelander 2. Many discussions with the service department and Land Rover HQ resulted in another car being bought from the dealership, after some 6 hours mostly in the reception area. During that time we were met with courtesy from receptionist to service manager and sales manager, and cannot praise highly enough the staff we met. Lorraine Maxwell of Peter Vardy Landrover Aberdeen and Kevin Harley of Peter Vardy Jaguar Aberdeen helped put a smile on the face of my son and also put a bit of icing on the cake to our charity even Cycle For Sam for the brain tumour charity.

A journey from Gretna Green to Stonehaven a distance of 200 miles over 2 days by 10 cyclists and many many more support cyclists have raise over Ā£15,000 for far for this amazing charity.

My 5 year old son couldn't join the ride at the end on a bike due to the intensive 10 months of treatment he had gone through.

Lorraine and Kevin supplied us with a Jaguar F-Type convertible to allow Sam to lead the cyclists home to his school under police escort.

He loved it and his smile and vocals about wanting to pass the police escort for the last stretch meant I could hardly see the road for tears.

I have enjoyed my courtesy snacks and drinks! Then Patrick seems to manage to get the car that I want in a reasonable price that I have asked for . I had cuppa tea, diet coke and fancy pieces. I'm suppose to eat healthy so that was my treat.

It would be nice if what seems a simple request that kicked off Monday was responded to as promised!

Monday-live chat started it off. No help other than call dealer(couldn't even spell dealer correctly) with a number.

Called and reception was not much help other than salesman would call back!

Early evening he finally called, took him through what I needed for my direct line insurance policy(said that they constantly have had issues with direct line) and he promised it would be taken care on Tuesday once the department that would get mecwhat I needed opened up.

Tuesday - Nothing

Wednesday - Nothing!

Thursday - Nothing!!

Friday (today) - sent an email via their online query form again explaining the issue and what I needed. Got a standard auto respond bar back and after 8 hours - Nada/Nothing/Zilch!!!!!!

Worst dealership i've been in ! Put down a deposit to secure a jeep ,was told it would be prepared and cleaned for me to view in the showroom - travelled 60 miles to find salesman couldn't find jeep then when he did it was in the workshop!! He then asked us to come through to view it , where i found the jeep absolutely filthy!!!!! After an hour of being messed about ,i walked out .......It took them 5 1/2 hrs to contact me back! Disgrace!

We paid over Ā£300 to put our Evoque to you to have a fault with the dvd player and drivers door handle fixed - the car came back to us with the faults still there, despite being told on the phone that it was sorted. The email you were going to send detailing what had been done to the car has never arrived - I can only assume you didn't actually do anything to fix these problems. I've phoned several times to try and arrange for this to be resolved but with no luck - the person dealing with it is never available and apparently no one else help??! On the 2 occasions that she's actually called back she's hung up as soon as I've answered, both times I've called back right away and been told, surprise surprise - she's not available. I would rather have resolved this without posting publicly but as I'm getting nowhere on the phone I feel I don't have any other option. If you could contact me to sort this out asap, either that or you can arrange to have the Ā£300+ that I wasted putting the car to you on the first place refunded. Thanks.

My 65 plate Disco sport having continuous problems with rattles in various areas including the infamous B pillar.. I queried this problem when the car was on order, to be told "we don't know of any issue" I've felt lied to from the start. The car has been welded for the problem to have gotten worse...



Had to contact LR direct to try move the situation along.. I've been patient with long enough.. My contact hasn't been available.. Not sure who to turn to?



After sales service is non existent..



I feel terrible for making things public but I feel soo frustrated.. I hoped this would be my ultimate dream car!!

If I could leave a minus score I would. Arrogant, obnoxious sales staff. Went in to buy two new cars but due to the lack of service will be (again) heading down to Pentland in Edinburgh to spend the money.

According to Pentland this happens to them all the time, customers from Aberdeen making their way to Edinburgh as they cannot bring themselves to deal with the Aberdeen LR dealer. Ruining the reputation of Land Rover.

I was unfortunate enough to buy a Range Rover sport from these cowboys. I was promised two free services which I have struggled to get out of them. The used car sales manager David Thomson has no integrity or honour. Avoid buying from here like youā€™d avoid the plague. I have no idea how they have a Land Rover franchise. I have wasted a day.

Emailed last night asking for video and details, spoke to them at 8.45 this morning chased this up through out the day telling them if every thing is ok on videos I want the land rover discovery.

It took until 5.30 for them to send the final video I rang back at 6.20 and it's sold!

Hi my Range Rover evoque in to get my boot spoiler replaced as the sos faulty dropped off at 9 didnt finish the job until 3 told them not to wash it as didnt have time got home and what a bloody disgrace the inside and boot was i already cleaned it myself before going in i would never ever return someone car in such a mess they are not cheap vehicles told me to come back in tomorrow for a valet really i think you mechanics should be a lot more careful when repair customers cars

Absolutely shocking service from start to finish for various reasons:



1- called me 5 mins before my collection time for my new car to tell me to bring Ā£500 deposit (in addition to the money I already paid prior to collection ) whilst they waited for my v5 to come which then took them 2 weeks to return to me once they received the v5.



2- when I arrived to collect my new car the salesman told me to call to set up the 7 day complimentary insurance which took 50 minutes to complete & couldnā€™t be started until 2 hours after me calling them resulting in me waiting in the garage with a toddler running riot.



3- on initial inspection of the car before leaving the garage my seat adjustment leaver cover was non existent and to this day (nearly 3 months on) always falls off.



4- starting miles of the car was 47 miles -not the 15 miles stayed on the paperwork (no biggy but just the principal of it)



5- I paid a lot of money to change the grill and lettering to black & asked for the original grill back which they said they would post out. On querying this 2 weeks later they said they made a mistake and couldnā€™t send it back as I had paid for an upgrade not a replacement?- absolute lie as I paid well over the cost prices for these items & they take minutes to fit so surely labour would be hundreds of pounds.



6- I complained to customer services about the above and got offered a bottle of champagne as an apology which I was expected to drive 30 miles to collect (no thanks)



7- continuous amber warning light appearing saying my exhaust filter required clearing bla bla ... this then turns to a red warning followed by my engine management light going on saying my exhaust filter is full and to contact the dealership. I contact the dealership straight away as my car was just not right (slow in acceleration etc). Was told it would be fixed that night and if not I would get a courtesy car dropped off - all free of charge. Currently I am 24 hours on from this and have been told it will be another 24 hours till I can get a courtesy car and I have to drop my car off and collect the courtesy car. Iā€™ve had to take a day off work and will have to take another tomorrow now - whoā€™s covering my lost wages?



8- oh and I was also promised mats when I bought the car which again I didnā€™t get with the salesman saying ā€œsorry I made a mistakeā€ - oh no problem, a garage that sells some of the most expensive cars in Aberdeen & you canā€™t even get some mats with your car



STAY WELL CLEAR - I am now in a position where I am tempted to hand the car back as I cannot bare to think what future hassles I am going to encounter

My 65 plate Disco sport having continuous problems with rattles in various areas including the infamous B pillar.. I queried this problem when the car was on order, to be told "we don't know of any issue" I've felt lied to from the start. The car has been welded for the problem to have gotten worse...



Had to contact LR direct to try move the situation along.. I've been patient with long enough.. My contact hasn't been available.. Not sure who to turn to?



After sales service is non existent..



I feel terrible for making things public but I feel soo frustrated.. I hoped this would be my ultimate dream car!!

If I could leave a minus score I would. Arrogant, obnoxious sales staff. Went in to buy two new cars but due to the lack of service will be (again) heading down to Pentland in Edinburgh to spend the money.

According to Pentland this happens to them all the time, customers from Aberdeen making their way to Edinburgh as they cannot bring themselves to deal with the Aberdeen LR dealer. Ruining the reputation of Land Rover.

The used car sales manager David Thomson has no integrity or honour. Avoid buying from here like youā€™d avoid the plague. I have no idea how they have a Land Rover franchise. Emailed last night asking for video and details, spoke to them at 8.45 this morning chased this up through out the day telling them if every thing is ok on videos I want the land rover discovery.

It took until 5.30 for them to send the final video I rang back at 6.20 and it's sold!

What a wast of a day and terrible service.

Hi my Range Rover evoque in to get my boot spoiler replaced as the sos faulty dropped off at 9 didnt finish the job until 3 told them not to wash it as didnt have time got home and what a bloody disgrace the inside and boot was i already cleaned it myself before going in i would never ever return someone car in such a mess they are not cheap vehicles told me to come back in tomorrow for a valet really i think you mechanics should be a lot more careful when repair customers cars

Absolutely shocking service from start to finish for various reasons:



1- called me 5 mins before my collection time for my new car to tell me to bring Ā£500 deposit (in addition to the money I already paid prior to collection ) whilst they waited for my v5 to come which then took them 2 weeks to return to me once they received the v5.



2- when I arrived to collect my new car the salesman told me to call to set up the 7 day complimentary insurance which took 50 minutes to complete & couldnā€™t be started until 2 hours after me calling them resulting in me waiting in the garage with a toddler running riot.



3- on initial inspection of the car before leaving the garage my seat adjustment leaver cover was non existent and to this day (nearly 3 months on) always falls off.



4- starting miles of the car was 47 miles -not the 15 miles stayed on the paperwork (no biggy but just the principal of it)



5- I paid a lot of money to change the grill and lettering to black & asked for the original grill back which they said they would post out. On querying this 2 weeks later they said they made a mistake and couldnā€™t send it back as I had paid for an upgrade not a replacement?- absolute lie as I paid well over the cost prices for these items & they take minutes to fit so surely labour would be hundreds of pounds.



6- I complained to customer services about the above and got offered a bottle of champagne as an apology which I was expected to drive 30 miles to collect (no thanks)



7- continuous amber warning light appearing saying my exhaust filter required clearing bla bla ... this then turns to a red warning followed by my engine management light going on saying my exhaust filter is full and to contact the dealership. I contact the dealership straight away as my car was just not right (slow in acceleration etc). Was told it would be fixed that night and if not I would get a courtesy car dropped off - all free of charge. Currently I am 24 hours on from this and have been told it will be another 24 hours till I can get a courtesy car and I have to drop my car off and collect the courtesy car. Iā€™ve had to take a day off work and will have to take another tomorrow now - whoā€™s covering my lost wages?



8- oh and I was also promised mats when I bought the car which again I didnā€™t get with the salesman saying ā€œsorry I made a mistakeā€ - oh no problem, a garage that sells some of the most expensive cars in Aberdeen & you canā€™t even get some mats with your car



STAY WELL CLEAR - I am now in a position where I am tempted to hand the car back as I cannot bare to think what future hassles I am going to encounter

We recently purchased a Range Rover Sport from Land Rover Aberdeen, what an amazing experience!!

Nothing was an issue, my husband had many questions that were answered with huge knowledge by Chris Smollet our sales man. We also changed our minds on various configurations, which Chris took in his stride. Our insurance insisted on upgrading the tracker system to "Cat 5" which could have delayed delivery, however the team fitted it within a 2 day window and we picked up our car on time.

Every time we have walked into RR we have been met with a warm welcome from each and every member of the team from reception to sales to service.

We are returning customers who in the past haven't been entirely happy, however there has obviously been massive effort and training employed which has changed the whole experience in all areas.

We also feel we must give credit to Nicola Kay - customer manager, who listened to issues we had in the past with a RR Khan, dealt with them on our behalf and turned things round to give us an amazing above and beyond after sales service.

Visited this dealership with my daughter, trying to diagnose fault on her Freelander 2. Many discussions with the service department and Land Rover HQ resulted in another car being bought from the dealership, after some 6 hours mostly in the reception area. During that time we were met with courtesy from receptionist to service manager and sales manager, and cannot praise highly enough the staff we met. Lorraine Maxwell of Peter Vardy Landrover Aberdeen and Kevin Harley of Peter Vardy Jaguar Aberdeen helped put a smile on the face of my son and also put a bit of icing on the cake to our charity even Cycle For Sam for the brain tumour charity.

A journey from Gretna Green to Stonehaven a distance of 200 miles over 2 days by 10 cyclists and many many more support cyclists have raise over Ā£15,000 for far for this amazing charity.

My 5 year old son couldn't join the ride at the end on a bike due to the intensive 10 months of treatment he had gone through.

Lorraine and Kevin supplied us with a Jaguar F-Type convertible to allow Sam to lead the cyclists home to his school under police escort.

He loved it and his smile and vocals about wanting to pass the police escort for the last stretch meant I could hardly see the road for tears.

It would be nice if what seems a simple request that kicked off Monday was responded to as promised!

Monday-live chat started it off. No help other than call dealer(couldn't even spell dealer correctly) with a number.

Called and reception was not much help other than salesman would call back!

Early evening he finally called, took him through what I needed for my direct line insurance policy(said that they constantly have had issues with direct line) and he promised it would be taken care on Tuesday once the department that would get mecwhat I needed opened up.

Tuesday - Nothing

Wednesday - Nothing!

Thursday - Nothing!!

Friday (today) - sent an email via their online query form again explaining the issue and what I needed. Got a standard auto respond bar back and after 8 hours - Nada/Nothing/Zilch!!!!!!

Put down a deposit to secure a jeep ,was told it would be prepared and cleaned for me to view in the showroom - travelled 60 miles to find salesman couldn't find jeep then when he did it was in the workshop!! He then asked us to come through to view it , where i found the jeep absolutely filthy!!!!! After an hour of being messed about ,i walked out .......It took them 5 1/2 hrs to contact me back! Disgrace!

We paid over Ā£300 to put our Evoque to you to have a fault with the dvd player and drivers door handle fixed - the car came back to us with the faults still there, despite being told on the phone that it was sorted. The email you were going to send detailing what had been done to the car has never arrived - I can only assume you didn't actually do anything to fix these problems. 7- continuous amber warning light appearing saying my exhaust filter required clearing bla bla ... this then turns to a red warning followed by my engine management light going on saying my exhaust filter is full and to contact the dealership. I contact the dealership straight away as my car was just not right (slow in acceleration etc). Was told it would be fixed that night and if not I would get a courtesy car dropped off - all free of charge. Currently I am 24 hours on from this and have been told it will be another 24 hours till I can get a courtesy car and I have to drop my car off and collect the courtesy car. Iā€™ve had to take a day off work and will have to take another tomorrow now - whoā€™s covering my lost wages?



8- oh and I was also promised mats when I bought the car which again I didnā€™t get with the salesman saying ā€œsorry I made a mistakeā€ - oh no problem, a garage that sells some of the most expensive cars in Aberdeen & you canā€™t even get some mats with your car



STAY WELL CLEAR - I am now in a position where I am tempted to hand the car back as I cannot bare to think what future hassles I am going to encounter
