Produced at our production plant at Boyndie, Banff and made for locally source wood materials these are a great way of keep warm this winter. Burning for up to 2 hours these are fab for open fires, stoves and burners.
These can be delivered on a pallet of 15kg bags or can be collected from our Insch Office as well as our local retailers.

We use Puffin Pellets on the Estate for our blown wood pellets and have had no issues. . Staff are very efficient and extremely helpful. They phone before delivery to give us a date and approx. time. The lorry driver is also very helpful and very efficient. Highly recommend them.

In the past I had mainly used straw for bedding and over the years have dabbled in using other types of bedding and none were particularly satisfactory and I kept going back to straw. I decided to try to Puffin Pellets in 2010 and since then have used this for bedding. There are many benefits to using these pellets, apart from it being a high quality product, there is a huge labour saving benefit in that stables take a fraction of time to muck out, you only remove any wet patches and then riddle the droppings through a fork. My muck heap is so much smaller than before as you are disposing of minimal dirty bedding. There is no smell in the stables of ammonia either. The horses benefit from a warm, supportive and soft bed and some even find it just too irresistible not to roll in it! I have 11 horses stabled all year round and find this product to be the best workable option for me in terms of time saving and the other aforementioned benefits. Life is too short to spend too much time mucking stables. I want to let you know what a very, very nice delivery man brought my pellets last week. He helped me stack all 66 bags and offered to help with anything else I needed done. I would be grateful if you could pass on my appreciation to Caledonian Logistics. I have been using Puffin Pellets for a few years having tried other types of bedding but wouldn't change now.

I use Puffin's bagged wood pellets to fuel a domestic biomass boiler. Over the past 2 1/2 years they have proven to be a good quality product, packaged well and less likely to fluff up (due to moisture getting in). It's also great to be able to use a sustainable, locally produced fuel that hasn't been shipped from eastern Europe. Ordering and delivery is fast and reliable (and the local courier they use for deliveries are generally very good too). I've shopped around but always come back to Puffin for quality and reliability.

I order blown bulk pellets for heating. The office staff were friendly and helpful taking the order and organising a quick delivery as I had managed to run out. The delivery was uneventful, driver tidied up and closed the garage after him. Can't fault them. The pellets even burn.

I have used Puffin to delivery my pellets for our Biomass boiler by blown deliveries. I can only highly recommend them for there friendly professional service

I have just picked up my second batch of Puffin Pellets horse bedding, next stop - a pallet! Great value, much less waste than shavings (half a wheelbarrow less a day per horse in fact) and so easy to work with. Would 100% recommend.
