Card Payments
Our machine in the take away has developed a fault however we are still able to take card payments. It just means once you have ordered you will need to nip up to the restaurant and use their fixed machine.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused
We can’t promise you a sunset like this, but we can promise you multi award winning fish & chips. Restaurant and take away open today 12-8
Went last week and throughly enjoyed the meal , I had a starter of squid and then crab cakes which were lovely and my wife had the lobster which looked fab and tasted great , definitely shall be trying that when we return. Lovely view of the harbour from the restaurant and if out for a day definitely worth a visit.
We went along to the Quayside restaurant on a spur of the moment as we had always wanted to try it, we were not disappointed either. We got a table straight away, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. We will certainly be back.
We turned up on the hope of getting a table for 4. We were not disappointed as we got a table with a view. Service was good and food was excellent 😋 I had the Crab cakes, my man had Lobster one of our sons had regular haddock and the other a chicken fillet burger with cheese & bacon. All big portions! We had a bit to wait but well worth it. I would recommend Quayside Gourdon and will most definitely be back soon.
The lobster is .best lobster we have ever had the staff are really nice . We phoned one day before to book 4 lobster just to make sure we were not disappointed when we went there... and we weren't disappointed. Definitely going back for more soon
Take away last week, was spot on !
Cheers guys !
Me & my husband drove down to Gourdon . With the express intention of having lunch at the Quayside. Hubby ordered Lobster and I ordered Lemon Sole Goujons. We also decided at the last minute to try a side of Calamari too. All freshly cooked & absolutely delicious. Well worth the hours drive from home. Definitely recommend a visit if you fancy some top quality produce with a lovely little harbour to look out on whilst enjoying your food
Has to be the best Jumbo Haddock supper with homemade fresh Tartare sauce in the North East. Excellent quality food with first class service. The Quayside is a hidden gem and a must to visit. Can’t wait to return!
Had a takeaway tonight it was great ready for when I was told it would be and it tasted amazing will definitely be back
Finally made it for dinner - much needed treat after an absolutely rubbish week of the family having had the lurgy.
Doesn't get any better, really - perfectly cooked haddock in a light, crispy and entirely non-greasy batter; great chips, also lacking the fattiness evident in other places; excellent mushy peas.
And the sticky toffee pudding and custard topped it off perfectly.
Three very happy customers.
Thanks!
Fantastic food and fantastic view. The Cullen Skink was the best I’ve ever had! The fish and chips were fabulous as well!
Fantastic drove out from Aberdeen after having wanting to go for ages.Well worth it we had the tempura calamari and the lobster from the takeaway can't fault anything just awesome thanks :)

Food was ok but my husband waited over 45 minutes for two adult meals and one children’s meal. The chips weren’t cooked very well. Staff were super friendly though.
