Went there for a birthday meal, staff were great and looked after us well. Hotel is lovely and food was fantastic, had a great evening.

Room that in-laws had was 4 poster and great view across the grounds.

We were married at Raemoir on 4.11.17 and from start to finish, we could not have asked for a better day ! Neil and his staff at Raemoir were all fantastic and all our guests commented on how lovely the venue, rooms and food were. A massive Thankyou to everyone at Raemoir for making our big day so special.

We were just in for a quick lunch, it was cold outside but the fire was on and our quick stop lasted 3 hours as it is so comfortable and relaxing The food and service is first class and we will definitely be back soon x

We had the privilege of attending a Wedding and staying over for 2 nights. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend the venue for a celebration or just a quiet dinner and stay. Can't wait to go back.

We had our wedding at Raemoir and it was amazing. The food all weekend was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Lacey. She looked after us from the minute we arrived on Friday to leaving on the Sunday, making sure everything ran smoothly, nothing was too much hassle for her. She really made our weekend so special and is a credit to Raemoir. The hotel itself was beautiful and we will definitely return for other special events!

We had a fantastic time at our wedding at Raemoir. We had the hotel from the Friday and it was lovely to have family and close friends celebrate the night before the wedding! The grounds were beautiful and the staff could not have been more attentive. The food was amazing and everyone had a wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Really dislike seeing 1 star reviews put on hotel facebook pages. Can I just say, we had our sons wedding at Raemoir House Hotel, and coming from a family in the wedding industry, we were conscious we wanted a perfect day for our son and his new bride. Raemoir didn't disappoint us on any account. The setting, hotel, food, service and staff were all second to none, they met all our requests perfectly, and the family and friends who attended, both from our area, and further afield, were blown away by Raemoir House. We have been back on numerous occasions for family events, dinners, and friends weddings, which have all been superb. Take my advice, and have no hesitation in booking into one of the finest country house hotels in Scotland, you won't be disappointed.

Oh my goodness where do I start! We are just back from our weekend wedding at Raemoir House and to say this is a magical venue is an understatement!! Neil and his team went above and beyond for us during the planning and the weekend itself and I cannot thank them enough. The staff on this weekend are a real credit to you. The house itself was spotless, the food was incredible all of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed all of their meals over the weekend. The whole weekend was seamless. If anyone is thinking about this as your venue I guarantee you will not be disappointed. It was everything we hoped for and more, again thank you so much!!

My husband and I recently held our Wedding at the beautiful Raemoir House on March 24, 2018. When it came to choosing a venue to host our special day, as many of you may know, there are a number of pretty places to choose around Aberdeenshire. However, as we had our hearts set on having a country mansion and marquee styled Wedding, nothing in our eyes compared to the beautiful location of the stunning Raemoir property, the marquee space and perfectly manicured gardens, as well as the friendly management and staff. The service and attention to detail throughout our Wedding day was impeccable. This venue also offered exclusive hire for the weekend, which only enhanced our Wedding celebrations. I completed a commission for Neil & Julie Rae recently of the frontage of this beautiful hotel, and was subsequently commissioned to create a second, which now hangs in the bar area- great venue, character aplenty and helpful staff who were even kind enough to offer me some complimentary coffee and nibbles when I was in collecting research materials for the piece! Highly recommended for weddings, and I know several friends and colleagues who have been to events here and rave about its historical country mansion ambience- definitely worth a visit! ~Jamie Cameron

Had my wedding at Raemoir and it was absolutely amazing. The staff are incredible, especially Lacey. She made our day run so smoothly and made sure everything was happening at the right time. If she needed to ask a question, she did it in such a way that she never interrupted a conversation and always chose the right moment. Bottom line; she is amazing at her job!

Got married here in October 2016. Hired the house for the weekend and celebrated with our closest family and friends. Can't fault the house, the staff or the food. Everyone and everything was absolutely fantastic

Can’t recommend Raemoir enough, we got married here in August. What stood out for us when looking at wedding venues was the exclusive use and Neil’s approach to treating it as your home for the weekend. Loved having most of the guests stay the night before too making it more personal. On the day it’s self everything ran smoothly with the sun shining so everyone was outside on the grounds enjoying themself

Came to Raemoir for my husband's 40th birthday lunch with all the family. From start to finish the service was excellent and we were all very well looked after. The food was amazing and the hotel is beautiful. Would definitely recommend and intend to come back soon �

A completely magical hotel. The ONLY proper country house in Banchory. The food is amazing,the bedrooms are beautiful, the staff work so hard and do anything for you. In my opinion this is the best hotel in Aberdeen and shire. By a Mile. Fantastic.
