Redphoenix Dance

Our aim is to promote traditional Chinese dance culture throughout Aberdeen.

RedPhoenix Dance is working with The Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen to promote traditional Chinese dance culture throughout Aberdeen. We are proving classes to children from primary schools. Those include: Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Fan Dance , Chinese Ribbon Dance and Kongfu dance . The group have participated in some performances during Chinese New Year celebrations around Aberdeen . Chinese Dance is a big part of Chinese culture also a great exercise for everybody. It can be a way to stay fit . It can improve coordination, balance and flexibility , also it's a place to meet new friends.
