What a lovely little chilled out eatery!! Great staff, and nice surfy inspired tunes welcome you in. Very nicely decorated and that's just to get you in the mood.

The food is utterly fantastic, both my Fianceé and I had the venison pie with baked potato and salad........beautiful portions, the pie had so much filling and the meat was cooked perfectly. After a gorgeous meal and a couple of bottles of beer (locally brewed at the Deeside brewery) we tried the cakes. They went down so well yesterday, we have just popped back in today for some take away cake!!!!!!

Totally recommended to anyone in the area looking for a light snack or a full on home cooked hot dinner! Wonderful

User

The brownies are amazing! Lovely helpful staff :)

User

Thank you for your lovely coffee, without it I wouldn't have finished the Etape Royale!

User

Super food and friendly people, a joy to visit.

User

Stopped by last week on a visit from Tennessee. Wonderful all around. Food, service and atmosphere.

User

Small, lovely cafe with very good food. The people who work there are extremely nice, exceeding expectations. There is an interesting combination of coffee, tea, wine and some other spirits. We had lunch with tea there and returned the next day to try something more.

User

Sharing platter always worth the run out from Aberdeen :-)

User

Popped in for lunch after my epic journey from Coylumbridge .....following road closures and nearly running out of fuel (on my motorcycle) in the middle of no where.......had a beautiful Cheese & Ham toastie and a latte.😘

User

Popped in for a coffee after hiking up Lochnagar - delighted to find the best flat white I've had since returning from New Zealand two years ago. Thank you!

User

One of our favourite places for coffee, scones or lunch in Ballater!

User

My husband, sons and I popped in here today and the food was brilliant. Kids platter was a great variety and the cakes( especially the gluten free almond and orange one!) was amazing!

We will definitely be popping in again on our next trip up to Ballater.

My friend and I had a lovely cheese ham and tomato sandwich with side salad and crisps. Good presentation and sooo tasty. Had a short wait because they were very busy but it was well worth the wait. Will definitely go back

Came here for lunch on 15th August with my brother and his family. What a findwe were served by a nice young geordie girl /Sand dancer. i ordered a Veneson Pie (home made) and it showed whith the best potatatos ive had for a good while. The Pie was just to die for i have problems eatting breads and paistrys and when i seen the pie arrive with no gravy on the side i was about to ask for some but decided i would try first. The pie just melted in your mouth and the paistry was perfect. I can safly say it was the best ive ever had. I asked if they were home made in hope they would tell me NO so i could have sneeked out and bought some to take home.We also ordered a mixed meat and cheese platter to share between us all and again aswell as being very well presented was just a plesure to eat.

I havnt enjoyed a meal as much as this in a very long time. Well done Guys keep it up I will be back.
