It’s Hogmanay and we are open from 11 am all day until midnight! On New Years Day tomorrow we will open from 1 pm until 5 pm. Have a great time everyone and stay safe. 🥂

We’re all having a well deserved rest today but the bar will be open again tomorrow Boxing Day at 12 noon all day until 11 pm. We will be serving meals again as normal from Thursday 27th - bookings advised.

Went in at the end of the day . Had a cracking roast pork dinner . Really tender meat . Service was excellent and very friendly . I will be back

The banter is top quality, staff are very friendly and the food is great! Always a couple of excellent cask ales on and local ales are promoted! Love this place and always go there when visiting family.

Popped in for lunch today. Food was really tasty and plenty of it. The sticky toffee pudding was just yummy. Got to mention the staff though. The young lady that was serving us is a real credit to your business. Friendly, polite and efficient. Well done

My wife and myself have taken all our family plus their partners and children out for Christmas dinner to the Scott Skinner’s Restaurant for a good few years now so this year was no different, except because some of the families were travelling to Dundee and Forfar areas afterwards we decided to make it a lunch instead. To make things easier for the staff and quicker for us we pre-booked what everybody was wanting from an excellent Christmas and the normal menus for 20 guests, sadly 3 had to pull out but. I must say that the rest of us were treated very well by excellent staff members who were cheerful and helpful, the food was piping hot, good and plentiful. We have been there on numerous other occasions and would not hesitate in recommending it as a first class place to dine.

My wife and I had Sunday lunch here to calibrate her 82nd birthday. We have had Sunday lunch everywhere in and outside Banchory for many years and for a change my wife said 'let's try Scott Skinner's'. What a pleasant experience. My wife had roast of the day and I took the Liver and Bacon. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. The staff and service was first lass too as were the surroundings. We will most certainly come back.

My partner and I were in with our 2 year old daughter last night as we were staying close by for the night. We would definitely recommend this establishment and will hopefully be able to visit again. The food was fantastic, absolutely beautiful. My daughter is allergic to dairy and was surprised to see a vast array of dairy free options on the menu, this isn't something we usually come across when we eat out. The restaurant was immaculate and the staff were outstanding. I can't commend your business enough. Like I said we definitely hope to eat here again in the future xx

My husband Jim & I had another fabulous meal for our Anniversary. The best place to eat in Banchory. Ali & Lynne are such nice people as is their staff. Well done folks.

Lovely Easter Monday meal.... highly recommend with the kids eat free. Thanks to the staff for the cheery service and putting up with the noisy children!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff that were on tonight. Sadly my grandfather became unwell at the start of our meal and we had to call an ambulance. The staff were so fantastic, and helped us as much as they could. They also managed to keep all our food hot until we were able to have our main courses much later than expected. Despite all that happened we had a lovely evening and the food was delicious. Thank you and well done to you all xxx

In last night for a family meal. Food was fantastic, compliments to the kitchen staff. The waiting staff couldn't have been more attentive. Even fussy child cleared her plate. Excellent value for money.

I was stopping over in my lorry across the road for the night. Popped in to have some food, barmaid and waitress were so polite and cheerful and the food was superb. A top pub.

Attended a Christmas party in The Loft at Scott Skinner recently and thought it was the perfect venue. The room was beautifully decorated and the food & service were excellent, highly recommend.

Always get good food and great service.. lynn thank you for going the extra mile.. loved the wee touch tonight with my roast.. have to come more often to use it up lol x

Family friendly and warm friendly staff, in a cosy relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyable pub grub but maybe a change in the menu would good.

The food was ok not brilliant took my mother in law out as she’s been house bound for a few weeks we ordered roast beef & roast pork. Though the helpings were generous the beef was very tough & the carrots were like bricks! The service was excellent & polite but the lady that was running the establishment was rude & arrogant to a member of staff which was very disappointing this has put us off coming in here again.
