For those who remember Mike Hall, the adventure cyclist and endurance racer! He was part of the Sub100 expedition process and was in there at the end of the selection! Absolute legend of a bloke and one of the most down to earth gentleman I've met! Sadly he has been killed in a traffic accident whilst cycling in Australia.
A fund has been set up to help Mike's family. Please do share this post, and donate if you are able. https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/M ikehall…

Update for "Unfinished Business". The SUB100 team still remain in UK after making the decision to postpone until next year having fell short on the total budget required for the entire crossing. Although dissapointment at the start we know its the right decision. Had we gone down not fully funded, we would have placed added pressure and stress on trying to get the extra funding on top off an already stressfull and challenging environment. We need to be fully focussed on this ...journey with no distractions. Having to pull out half way through the trip is not an option we were willing to take. So we will refocus on getting the rest of the sposnorship for next year. We have one more year to celebrate the centenary of Shackleton's Imperial Trans Antarctic crossing 1914-1917.Although there are many expeditions with the Shackleton association in their name this year, they are not taking on our trip of finishing off Shackleton's proposed route, which leaves it still for us to do next year. Another year of training, along with more school interactions, talks, and working with our chosen charities will help spread the word. We also have the oppertunity to work alongside some incredible organisations that we didnt have enough time to set up with this year. We would like to thank the ongoing support of the sponsors we have onboard with us and look forward to extending our partnership throughout the next year.A big massive Thanks to all who follow us and support us.
