Hi all, well, things are always on the move. Life never stands still (though maybe we wish it would at times!) and now life finds me back in the Norwegian sector again! 🙂.

Well, after that brief adventure in Mozambique, I am very glad to say that I now have a contract back in Aberdeen with Nexen as SDE for the Craster well. This is a HPHT exploration well West of Shetland due to be drilled from the West Phoenix. I feel extraordinarily lucky to have a contract in these lean times and am always thinking of those less fortunate out there at the moment. There are small signs of things picking up slowly which is encouraging!

Hi all! Well, some good news and some not quite so good news! 😊. The good news is that Springbok Drilling Ltd has a new contract signed today! 😊🍾. The not so good news is that I shall be away for Christmas 🎄 but if all goes to plan, I will be home for the New Year! 🍾 🎉!! Am off to the warmer climes of Mozambique 🇲🇿 as night DSV for SASOL 🇿🇦! Land rig near the coast drilling development wells. 😊. Just going to have to watch out for the 🐍!! 😱

Hi all, well I guess the time had to come! :( As of now, I am "between contracts", so if there is anyone needing a coffee boy, bag carrier, SDE or DSV, then please get in touch! :)

On a more serious note, I am very pleased to say that as of 1st October, I have started a contract as night DSV in Norway! 😄

Springbok Drilling has taken on a new "product line".... The first ROV has arrived!

Well, looks like the downturn is going to be a tough one! If anyone has a requirement for a DSV or SDE from about April time onwards, then please do let me know. Though I am sure there is a lot of us out there looking for positions... :)

Hi all, well, I guess it might be time for me to start thinking about what to do next! :) Have to see, but this contract could be finished in early 2015. So, if you hear of anything that might be suitable for a DSV with 2 years recent Norway semi experience of development drilling or Senior Drill Eng with nearly 15 years experience, then drop me a note! :)

Time to go back to work!
