Was it cold today? Yes it was. Was it sleet & snow? Yes it was. Did dresses have to be held up to save them getting soaked? Yes they did. Did these guys still come outside with me for photographs.....YES, YES, YES!! <3

Speeches on the stairs, then time to dance the night away. Congratulations to Calum & Kimbala who were married last weekend at Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course. Thank you so much for having us there as part of your special day. It was truly a privilege. <3 <3

Then, at 6pm, after a day spent with close family and friends, Calum and Kimbala were married. There were more tears of happiness from them both - and probably from most of us who were lucky enough to witness it. <3 <3

We then spent some time with friends and family capturing the photographs. Everyone was so relaxed and there was no rush. Just how it should be.

And Calum & Kimbala decided to see each other BEFORE the wedding. To say it was emotional is an understatement. This first look was so precious, and it meant the bride and groom got to spend some quality time together from the get-go. Forever and always.

This groom was a little bit different from my 'norm'....you see, he's a pretty fine wedding photographer himself, so it was a bit of an honour to be asked to capture his day. And he didn't disappoint. Everything about the day was different. Good Different :) Calum had a Best Woman for starters. That's always going to be a hit with me ;)

I believe weddings aren't just about the two people getting married, they're about the family and friends who helped get them there. Kimbala Riddell was just the right kind of bride for me - she made a special trip to her Uncle Bill's nursing home on the morning of her wedding day as he wasn't well enough to make the journey. And boy, was he pleased to see her!! <3 <3 <3

I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of a certain beautiful couple two years ago. It was pretty cold on the 29th September, but that didn't stop Ashleigh & Grant getting outside for lots of photographs (and it was, of course, a pleasure to come back into the warmth!!). Absolute troopers, and worth it to capture these beautiful moments. Thank you so much for having us there as part of your special day and best wishes to you both. <3 <3
