went to the bobbin for lunch today with the perfect person shell thomson. staff and service was excellent also food was excellent specially the banoffee sundee to die for will definitely will be back again

The Bobbin is my husbands & myself favourite pub for eating. Since it has been done up the pub food is amazing, both our favourite is salt beef sub, very good value for money & we always come out stuffed

Since it had its facelift it's a pleasure to be there, been my local for over 20 years and I have been there more in the last year than the 20 years, staff are very friendly and always welcoming even when they are very busy. Foods great.

Only one criticism never enough cover on match days.

Nice stuff nice people here. Somewhere to chill out and eat American cuisine properly.

Lovely staff and delicious food! Best place to go grab something to eat and have fun with your friends

A boss wee place. Staff are brilliant, food is good and great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely lunch .. yesterday .. great service with a smile ..place as jumping and the food came quickly .. we had a mixture of things .. one had fish and chips .. one had the veggie burger and I had the burrito .. yummy yum

Food lovely good value for money helpful and friendly staff also they are dog friendly would recommend. We will be back

Always busy you do struggle to get a seat. Must be getting old haha

Food decent but could be hotter when it comes.

Good range of gins and beers.

Pity the beer garden isn't bigger.

Should use it more

Love the atmosphere and seating but the food was poor, cold and not worth the money.

The fact that this pub knows so little about its clientele that it will turn off the football with 5 mins to go for rugby build up (with no sound) speaks volumes. Actually embarrassed for you's.

The second time I have been in and it's been clear the kitchen don't even know their own menu. I ordered smothered chicken with onion rings and spicy slaw as advertised and smothered chicken with grilled tomato and peas was what I got.

Once I might excuse but twice shows a clear lack of training or negligence.

I had lectures to get to so ate up and moved on but really pretty shocked at how little care a business this size has.

Saturday afternoon with Aberdeen playing at home, obviously a huge football crowd in. Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday finishes at 14.22, Scotland v Wales in the Rugby starts at 14.25. What time do your staff change the channel from football to the rugby to watch 3 folk speak on tv for 10 minutes with the jukebox playing in the background, 14.15. Get a grip.

Food service on a Sunday absolutely shocking! Told no menu food even tho they are still serving to certain people, offered a hand burger and fries which I ordered. Burger in a roll on a napkin given nothing else in it and no fries. You need to get your act together!!
