The Marcliffe Spa is looking for a new part time weekend receptionist!!

Wow. What an amazing experience this hotel is. We have lovely friends that bought us a 1 night a la carry break at this beautiful hotel. Our junior suite was lovely, spacious, even had a small terrace to sit out in a beautiful day! Service is first class. Dinner incredible food cooked very well but still the attention to detail and attentive service wins over everything. It certainly lives up to its reputation. No ordinary hotel. Absolutely.

Went to Marcliffe Thursday evening to celebrate my sister Eileen Baird’s graduation.. Bar staff, waiters, were so professional and the meal was absolutely fantastic!! Lovely homely atmosphere too my favorite hotel in Aberdeen . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfection!

We visited the Marcliffe for my Birthday meal last week and the whole experience from start to finish was faultless. We were greeted by friendly staff and our server come somelier was first class, recommending the most beautiful white wine to go with our mouth watering chateaubriand which just melted in the mouth.

A lovely touch was the happy birthday truffles waiting for me in the drawing room when we had coffee after the meal.

I can not recommend enough - you get what you pay for in a first class establishment that is the Marcliffe!

We stayed here last night for a charity function.....and wow what a experience ..staff were very attentive from the minute we walked in and they couldn't do enough for you..

The room was georgous and spacious ....also the bed was very comfy...

Food on the night was out of this world...beautiful and good portions �

Breakfast included and was one of the best I have had in a long time....and plenty to choose from.

We stayed here for a night myself and my husband. From when we walked through the door till we left the service was absolutely amazing. It was my birthday and in the room was a bottle off champagne from Stewart spence and staff. I honestly was over whelmed. We will be heading back next time Wir down. We have recently stayed at this stunning hotel for our silver wedding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was perfect. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing with something for everyone. Mr Spence is on hand making sure everything is just as it should be. The special touches from the champagne in the room to the anniversary sweet tray that was delivered to our room. Thank you all x

Was very lucky to receive a ultimate tranquillity spa voucher from my partner, I've had a fantastic relaxing day from the minute I arrived very friendly and professional staff Megan who carried out my treatments & looked after me all day was so friendly and professional made me feel so relaxed and at ease. Not forgetting Pawel who looked after me for my lovely champagne lunch couldn't have received better service will definitely visit again.

This was an amazing experience, or should have been if we had received our luggage by our airline. The staff at the Marcliffe were so kind and even though we felt underdressed at dinner, they all were so gracious and made us feel comfortable and welcome. One of the best accommodations and dinners we had on our tour of Scotland and Ireland. We will definitely come back to the Marcliffe!

Stayed here on Friday 10th from the moment we checked in until we checked out it was perfect. We could not fault this hotel at all, everything is very well thought through all the little extra touches made it special. Stewart Spence was serving in the conservatory, a very hands on approach which was lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel we hope to stay here again soon. Thanks to all the staff, very very pleasant.

My very first time visiting today, my husband and I had afternoon tea it was absolutely amazing from start to finish, also the best tasting prosecco I’ve had!! Look forward to coming back again!! I think the trainee waiter was called Aaron? You were fab!!

Lunch was amazing and the staff were so professional and efficient. During the afternoon , tea was served in the lounge. After a very busy few days we were very tired waiting to go to the airport and it was the perfect place to relax without being bothered but waited on and our every need catered for. Excellent.

Lovely stay staff friendly and very professional. Our room was spotless and large. The dinner was fantastic starters -scallops and I had soup, mains were surf turf which my husband said was the best he has ever tasted, I had lemon sole, the portions were substantial so much so there was no room for pudding The breakfast was amazing . I had fresh fruit then kedgeree my husband had full cooked I could not fault a thing. Would definitely recommend and will visit again without hesitation.

It is the most wonderful place to stay at. Every member of staff are just marvellous. So helpful and they go out of their way to help. The food is absolutely mouth watering and again very good and not wee plates. You don't leave the dining room hungry. The bar is very relaxed and very well stocked and the barman is a treat.

I was a guest at a Charity Lunch earlier this week. The food was amazing! How Chef and his team provided 335 guests with such a high quality of food I just don't know, the service was second to none, a full team of young waiting staff, appeared with the main course, on hot plates, weaving in and out of all the tables, it was with military precision that we all got our delicious lunch at the same time! I thank Lee and the team for such a great afternoon.

I had my 1st visit today to the Marcliffe today for lunch as a treat from my mum before the arrival of my first baby, it was amazing! Staff and food was beautiful! Mr Spence himself took us to our table, served our food and we had a little chat and he wished me all the best when baby comes! I can’t wait to come back hopefully one day x

Perfect evening

Booked a last minute stay for one night with our dog. Room we had was perfect-patio doors which was great to let out our dog plus meant we didn't have to take him through reception (he gets very excited in new places!). The staff had thoughtfully put dog bowls and poo bags into the room before we got there. Fantastic woodland walk to the rear of the hotel.

Breakfast was really good too with a substantial selection to chose from. Would love to go back here again.

Another lovely family lunch enjoyed by all ages. Great food and the staff were faultless. Has been so good over the years and still keeps it up.
